We will focus on Transiting Jupiter sextile Natal Venus. Transiting Jupiter moves through each sign in approximately one year therefore taking 12 years to complete a full cycle through the zodiac. T. Jupiter moves into retrograde (appearing to move in a backward motion) once a year. During its retrograde cycle, it can make aspects to planets or angles up to three times, making these aspects from Jupiter more relevant. Jupiter is the planet of good luck, expansion, growth, and easy flow. Its energies are what we wait for and in many cases good things happen (although when we are having an extended difficult time, it can exaggerate what is already in place). E.g. If someone were to have terminal health conditions, Jupiter’s energies can influence the situation to end the suffering. Jupiter’s energies are in place to expand situations. It is said that everything stems from the heart. Should we then look within our heart (emotions) first when dealing with adverse experiences in life which have evolved into physical conditions or “dis-ease”? In what ways could we change our lives or our perspectives to alter less than ideal conditions now apparent in the physical body? What can we do from a purely mental perspective to re-examine our lives? What changes need to materialize to have a productive physical effect on our body? Are we happy? Are we content? What can we do to change the direction of our life if changes need to take place? How will these changes affect those around us and what can we do from a personal perspective to make changes that not only make us feel better emotionally but also help those around us to find peace as well? These are questions that we can certainly reflect on. If someone closely involved in our day to day lives is being beckoned to make changes yet they ignore these calls, it may be time to help them see what is required. If they still resist, then it may be time for us to do some house cleaning. Those that are holding us back and creating conditions in our lives that are not in line with our journey cannot be allowed to stand in our way. It is best to think of what we need to live a healthy, fulfilling life. It is not self-centred or egotistical to care for our own needs. We cannot fulfil our life’s journey if we have not cared for or taken care of our own needs. Sometimes our journeys go in different directions as we progress and grow. If we have allowed a disease to progress unchecked, we should never hesitate to seek professional assistance for guidance and healing. By making conscious changes in our lives and with care to heal the disease, we will have the tools we need to heal and grow, as this is part of our life’s journey. Our mental construct always plays a significant role in our health, and we can never move out of challenging health related matters if we do not believe we can change things. Focus and alignment are key to overcoming all matters that stand in the way of our growth and healing. There are always avenues to pursue, but the first step that needs to be taken always come from within. On Saturday, October 14, 2023, we will experience a Solar Eclipse at 21° in the sign of Libra. Anyone with planets or angles within three degrees of this placement in their natal chart, either by conjunction or opposition or to a lesser degree by the other major aspects will be influenced by this eclipse. Check the placement of this eclipse along with the aspects it makes, and the natal configurations attached to this position in your chart. Natal potential will give a clear understanding of the energies in place and their potential in your specific case. Each chart will have different dynamics in place and although the energies of a Solar Eclipse often bring the same conditions into life, the areas of life will differ from person to person. Today, October 10, 2023, Transiting Pluto goes direct. Pluto has been in retrograde motion since May 2, 2023. Pluto in direct motion is the time for those individuals who have a planet or angle either Conjunct Pluto’s position (27/28° Capricorn) or in Opposition to this placement to go through some important changes and major transformations. The Square, Trine and Sextile aspect also have influences on this position but the Conjunction and Opposition are the most powerful. Pluto direct is a time when you can move ahead with any issues that might have been buried or left on the back burner. You should move ahead with these matters, bring things to the surface and face the matter, even if it is hard to face. Pluto’s action can be intense and feel fated on some level, but insight is often very powerful when we deal with matters of this kind. Transiting Uranus moves slowly through the Zodiac staying in one sign for approximately 7 years. It takes a cycle of 84 years for Uranus to come back to its original position in your natal chart. Saturn on the other hand takes about 2 ½ year to move through a sign and 29 years to complete its cycle around the Zodiac. While Uranus is in transit it will impact all the positions of our natal planets and the house cusps and angles. Its energies usually instigate sudden and unexpected change. If we do not act on what needs work, it often pushes for this to happen. It is known as the awakener and does just that. Anything that no longer suits our evolutionary growth is subject to change and disruption. Uranus is like an electronic impulse stirring us and pushing us in new directions. When associated with Saturn, which is quite unlike Uranus, the impulse is to change direction but Saturn does not like this type of influence. Saturn is happy if things stay the same and are steadfast, reliable and secure. Saturn fights change and does not like disruption to what it comfortable and stable. As you can imagine even without considering the square aspect, which is one of challenge and disruption, these two energies do not sit well with each other. The square between these two giants in Astrology creates tension, pushes for resolution and defies anyone that refuses to adapt and adjust. The square is challenging enough that it often pushes us into action so we will resolve the issues at hand. These push us into action and although the square is considered a difficult and challenging aspect to deal with because of the need for resolution it can also be considered an action aspect that helps us resolve issues. During this time Uranus wants us to take leaps of faith and move in a new direction. Saturn likes things the way they are, and resists change even though it might recognize that change is what is required at this point. This could be a relationship that no longer suits your evolution. It could be a change in occupation or a massive change in life’s direction. Often at around the age 42 when we are undergoing the Uranus opposition, people make dynamic changes of direction that many do not see coming. When Transiting Pluto squares your midheaven (MC) challenging situations will affect your career options, life status, goals and aspirations and life’s path. This is not an easy time, and you will have to adjust and often to a great degree. Intensity and disruption along with adversity can be expected. There are no halfway measures about Pluto and in many cases, what takes place is out of your control. Remember where you came from, so the saying goes. We came into this life to grow and experience. Perhaps we understood the purpose of this life at the very beginning and lost that information at birth. There are so many unanswered questions but being open to all possibilities allows us the ability to learn, grow and understand. Early in life, we knew little compared to what we know to be truth now. In the beginning all we did is question. In adolescence, we hoped to find ourselves. We wanted answers and we questioned why. For some of us, many questions have been answered but not all of them by any means. Perhaps we are not meant to find these answers, perhaps we are not ready to know the answer. We were taught to live in the present moment and to appreciate life, even when we experience dark moments. We were taught to open our hearts and arms to others, that we are all one, and how expression and life exchanges cause ripple effects. We work to formulate our next step through meditation and mindfulness. We embraced the moment and recognized that our thoughts, focus and beliefs create reality on some level. We have learned that we are the masters of our life and that although life throws curve ball every now and again we can bounce back and after which we are more resilient and knowledgeable.
