With transiting Neptune sextile natal Saturn an opportunity could present itself to assist in getting to the core of the psychic or mystical realm, but not without some challenges that need to be met due to the lessons Saturn insists on teaching.

Currently, Neptune while in Transit will remain in Aries until it moves into the sign of Taurus on March 23, 2039.  Neptune remains in a sign approximately 14 years.  Those that have their Natal Saturn in either Gemini or Aquarius, understanding that the orb of influence can be up to and including 8°, some saying even 10°.  will begin to feel the energies of Neptune as it approaches within 3-5°, and its waning influence dissipates once it is 2° in separation.

Transiting Neptune just entered Aries on a permanent basis in January, 2026; therefore, those with their Natal Saturn in the late degrees of Taurus or the late degrees of Capricorn (that is when Transiting Neptune is in the early degrees of Aries), will also have this influence.  You will have to take into consideration the nature of Saturn in the signs as they differ significantly, when deciphering what this combination might signify.

Although the Sextile is considered a favorable aspect, the energies of Neptune and Saturn do not blend well together.  Saturn is about structure, and reality based on living in today’s world which is tightly linked to achievement. Neptune, however, by its nature, has nothing to do with structure. Neptune opens the door to what could be considered “structurelessness”.  Reality, linked to Neptune, has to do with spiritual concepts and those things considered supernatural.

Saturn seeks what is reliable and does not like to go outside of those boundaries, while Neptune does not like anything that could be considered challenging and, in many cases, chooses to stay away from these matters.  Saturn has to do with adversity and working its way through challenges, while some would say that Neptune hides its head in the sand and will do whatever it can to avoid challenging situations.

The Sextile between these two powerful energies tests the reality of spirituality.  It will seek out discrepancies and find answers through logic and any approach that is tried, tested and true.

Neptune does not seek validation. It understands that spirituality is about faith and believing in higher frequencies and holds tight to the psychic or mystical realms.

Neptune is about letting go while Saturn is about holding on.

A door can open with these two opposing energies because of the sextile’s energies. With transiting Neptune sextile natal Saturn an opportunity could present itself to assist in getting to the core of the psychic or mystical realm, but not without some challenges that need to be met due to the lessons Saturn insists on teaching.

Transiting Jupiter trine Natal Neptune will expand, enhance and create an easy flow focusing on creativity, mysticism, spirituality, psychic awareness, etc.
Transiting Jupiter Trine Natal Neptune

When Transiting Jupiter makes a Trine to Natal Neptune, depending on our state of awareness, it can indicate a time when we awaken to a deeper consciousness of the psychic and mystical realms.  This is particularly true if we have been on this road already and are now ready to move into the next stage of our evolutionary awareness.

For those relatively new to the “Super Natural”, it is important to remember that “natural” is the key word. It is something that is very normal but not talked about much. Under this influence, we begin to open doors that might otherwise have been closed prior to this time in our lives.  All levels of enlightenment through meditation, psychic awareness groups and any form of teaching that is available is highly recommended and should be favored under the influence of this aspect.

Jupiter expands on whatever it touches and adds growth and higher teachings.  For those experiencing this Trine, you are ready for things to be taken to a new level of awareness.  It is time to advance to what you deem significant in your life, even if you are currently in a place where psychic awareness hasn’t been accomplished yet. This aspect will likely open the door a little more for you. Being open to these energies is necessary, however.

Neptune, depending on its house location in the Natal Chart and the house location it is transiting, now can also indicate musical abilities, unique ideologies that are not commonly found in general, insight and imagination above what could be considered the norm, etc.

For example, the first house is very personal and influences relationships of significance.  The second house deals with finances and security and affects shared resources.  The third is related to writing, teaching and communication and has to do with foreign travel, higher learning such as continued education.  The fourth house is about the home and family and has an impact on our goals and occupation.  The fifth has to do with our creativity and perhaps children, along with friendship, groups and organizations somehow connected with humanity on some level.  Finally, our last example, the sixth house related to our working environment, health in general and is also connected with the twelfth house which has to do with psychic awareness and is known as the dustbin of the Zodiac. This suggests issues that we may not want to deal with because they are challenging on some level.

As you can see the houses involved are very significant.

Transiting Jupiter trine Natal Neptune will expand, enhance and create an easy flow focusing on creativity, mysticism, spirituality, psychic awareness, etc.

On Monday, April 20, we posted an article on Sun in Taurus.  Here's a link: https://www.holmastrology.com/post/sun-in-taurus-2026

Happy solar return to our Sun in Taurus readers. The aspects for those with Sun in Taurus 2026 involving Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus suggest there is personal work that must be done connecting with both the realistic and the spiritual realms and a possible change of direction.
Aspects for Sun in Taurus 2026

Today, we will look at some of the aspects affecting Sun in Taurus for 2026.

When we review the positioning of the major Transits, we note that Saturn and Neptune are both in the sign of Aries. As a result, they are making a semi-sextile to Sun in Taurus.

We also note that Uranus is moving into Gemini on April 26 which will also make a semi-sextile aspect to the Taurus sun.

What is a semi-sextile?

To begin, with a semi-sextile, you can only allow a small arb of influence which should be no more than 2° from being direct. It is a minor aspect which is considered frictional. It may go by unnoticed. If we are attuned to the energies, however, and with considerable focus and adjustments taken where required, we can take steps that will bring growth over the long haul.  The energy needs to be moved forward and can have a lasting effect if a good degree of work is done.  Sitting by and doing nothing will not bring about rewards.

You must consider the planetary energies and the houses involved in the Taurean’s chart to reach possible conclusions as to how these energies might pan out.

Neptune and Saturn have opposing energies. Saturn seeks steady, reliable, hard work to ensure lasting potential.  Neptune, on the other hand, connects with spirituality, intuition and abilities that lie beyond what would be considered “normal” or even static to inspirational insight and psychic intuitive knowledge.  Saturn is in the realistic material realm and Neptune connects to intuitive inspiration and psychic awareness.

When both Neptune and Saturn are in the sign of Aries, there is a giant push to do whatever must be done for oneself.  Sun in Taurus individuals must approach life by doing what they need to do and that is best for themselves, not for others, although in many cases others might be involved in the process.

The houses in the astrology chart will indicate what areas of life are involved.

Uranus in Gemini speaks of a change of direction often through great transformational energies that we seek through mental reasoning. A new direction is often what this is about and in some cases the action is quick, decisive and possibly abrupt. A part of you will understand that this change of direction is needed, and you know what to do to make it happen.

It is important to look at all other transits which affect this placement, as with all contacts.  This gives you a clearer understanding of what full energies are in play, either making this change easy or challenging.

Transiting Jupiter is making a Sextile to this positioning, while Transiting Pluto is making a square.

Check your ephemeris to see where these transiting planets are in your chart and if they affect your Taurus Sun sign. The closer the degree, the stronger the energies.

Happy solar return to our Sun in Taurus readers.  The aspects for Sun in Taurus 2026 involving Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus suggest there is personal work that must be done connecting with both the realistic and the spiritual realms and a possible change of direction.
