Gemini New Moon 2026

The next New Moon, which occurs on June 15, 2026, is in the sign of Gemini at 24°.  Allowing for up to a 3° orb of influence stemming from other current transiting planets, there are no planets within this degree, so this New Moon stands on its own without influence from other transiting bodies.

A New Moon in Gemini speaks of ideas and decisions which are subject to change and often without notice.  This does not mean that any plans that you make at this point are going to change or that moving ahead might not be such a good idea.  What it does mean is that the likelihood of change in your plans as you push forward with whatever intent you may have.

Think things through before moving ahead with your ideas.  This helps the process and restarting or restructuring is less likely.  However, if you want to make changes to your plans, this is quite doable. Nothing is written in stone and mutable signs are flexible. 

Move forward with conviction, once you make up your mind which route to take. You will see what the results are in about six months’ time when we experience the Full Moon in the same sign, Gemini.

Much depends on the aspects in the Natal Chart to this New Moon’s position.  The aspects will determine what areas of life are involved and the way to move forward.  Taking advantage of these energies is always recommended.  Allow a 3° orb of influence with your natal chart as well and use only the major aspects especially the Conjunction and the Opposition to understand the energies.  Don’t forget to check the houses involved.

Do not stress over the outcome. Move forward and understand there is the likelihood of modifications along the way with the Gemini New Moon 2026. Your original plan might unfold in a different manner.  Moving ahead with confidence anyway!

Sun in Gemini 2026

On May 20, 2026, the Sun moves from Taurus, a fixed earth sign, into Gemini, a mutable, air sign. 

The shift from Taurus to Gemini is astounding.  The Sun sign energies move from a slow acting, highly rigid, quiet and deep personality to a quick witted, fast moving, pliable and adaptable personality. Those individuals born with their Sun sign in the very early degrees of Gemini can show a two-sided personality, perplexing yet mostly dependable although able to adjust when needed, for example.

The Sun has an orb of 16° of influence so those born with their Sun in the late degrees of Taurus or the early degrees of Gemini will carry both signs character traits in their personal toolbox of life, ( and the same effect would be in place with a Sun in the late degrees of Gemini and the early degrees of Cancer). 

The Sun is depictive of who we are internally, and as we mature into ourselves through life’s experience, we mold our inner traits with our outer traits (our Ascendant personality) to form a full, complete identity.  Of course, the whole chart needs to be carefully reviewed, as for just one example, someone with a Stellium in one sign and one house would greatly influence these energies.

When we focus only on the sun in Gemini, these individuals are very versatile and adaptable.  They are also quite changeable and can switch from one view to another easily.  They are thinkers and in some cases doers. They will also be the ones who reflect on which path to take before finally making a decision.  Some react quickly when it comes to decision making while others take their time before moving into action. 

Gemini is ruled by the planet Mercury which is the planet of the mind. This makes Gemini one of the greatest communicators of the Zodiac.  They have an interest in much and some knowledge on many subjects. They may, however, not have a deep knowledge on any given topic.  Many Geminians skim the surface of learning although have plenty of interest.  When it comes to gathering information, they are number one.

Geminians would do well as teachers, and marketing would also suit them.  They can be chatterboxes.

Some Gemini delve too deep into other people’s business.  However, in most cases, their intensions are not to pry but to help.  They likely have an opinion on almost anything, at least if the topic is of interest to them.

TRANSITS TO SUN IN VIRGO 2025

Transits to Sun in Virgo 2025

Today we will review some of the transits that will influence those with their Sun in Virgo over the coming year.

Transiting Mercury is in the sign of Virgo from September 2-19, 2025 while transiting Venus is in Virgo from September 19 through to October 13, 2025.  They will not make a conjunction with one another, but as they move through Virgo, they will make connections to all those with their Sun in the sign of Virgo. 

Transiting Pluto is in the early degrees of Aquarius and will stay in this sign for many years to come. Pluto will make aspect to some Sun in Virgo by Quincunx. Check your chart for the appropriate degree (150°) to see if your chart is influenced. The orb of approaching Pluto to those influenced is 4-5° while the separating influence is about 2°.

The Conjunction of Mercury affects the areas of communication, interaction, your thought process and can indicate short trips.  Mercury is often tied to teaching/learning, all education and is intense when it comes to communication of all sorts.  Mercury rules both Virgo and Gemini.

When Mercury connects with the Virgoan’s Sun, for about 7 days, you will perhaps ingulf yourself in deep thought, and communicate with yourself ideas that may further your goals in life.  Perhaps you are preparing for schooling or may educate yourself and learn the use of specific tools that may help you professionally.  The Mercury contact is a good time for educating yourself, open communication with others and evaluating what you might want to do as you move forward in your quest for understanding and knowledge.

When Venus interacts with your Virgoan Sun, (which also lasts approximately 7 days) you might want to include what you were planning with your friends and associates.  Perhaps the planning process is now in the organization stage.  Socializing is often a part of the process, and you may find yourself more involved with others, perhaps entertaining them or going to gatherings. 

For some, this can be a time of love and affection.  Perhaps you meet someone under this influence and decide to allow the relationship to develop and you share affection.  Perhaps the next step is in order.  Much will depend on the houses involved in your chart for both Mercury as well as Venus while in aspect.  These will be the areas of life being influenced by the energies.

When Pluto enters the scene, it will be a long-lasting aspect that will play an important role in your life lasting several years and usually not fully understood for about 2 years.  Pluto is about transformation and regeneration.  It can indicate power problems or struggles associated with your goals in life, or a need to make changes to the path you are on.  There are no half measures when Pluto is involved and, in many cases, what was in place will go through dynamic changes and something new comes into play as you may have to leave something behind.

A quincunx always indicates that an adjustment is necessary.  Because of the changes that Pluto often brings, you will have to adjust to where life is taking you and fighting the process is futile as where you are going is exactly where you are meant to go in this place in time.  Pluto is dynamic in its energies and sometimes the change taking place is hard to adjust to, but over time, you will adjust and reap the rewards of life’s new avenues of expression.
