NEPTUNE CONJUNCT NATAL SOUTH NODE

Neptune Conjunct Natal South Node

If you have transiting Neptune in Opposition to your Natal North Node, it will also be Conjunct your Natal South Node’s position.  The Conjunction is more powerful than the Opposition, therefore, we will focus on Neptune and the South Node. 

It should be noted, however, that the Oppositions, however, always have something to do with other people, and in this case, it’s quite possible that they are interfering with your path forward.

The South Node has energies similar to Saturn and having the South Node Conjunct Neptune suggests that there is a degree of uncertainty and things are unclear about the path forward.  The house placements will define the area of life involved. 

Neptune tends to cloud things when in challenging aspect.  Perhaps, you feel as though you are to blame for a recent issue in life, or alternatively, you may feel that someone else is the problem and they are making things difficult.  In most cases, it would be wise to reconsider and to take some responsibility although at the same time not to take total responsibility because likely the other individual is quite involved in what is going on too.

Currently (September 2025), Neptune and Saturn are in proximity to each other.  This in itself suggests a problem with distinguishing between what is real and what is not real.  You may have your eyes closed because what is taking hold is quite challenging and you may not want to see things as they are.  Perhaps you may feel that things will likely clear up over time and you may very well be right, but you cannot “hide your head in the sand” even if this is the case.  Be realistic and don’t worry where you don’t need to. Beware of exaggerating things in your head under these conditions. It is never a good idea to worry about possibilities.  See things as they truly are. It is best not to let your mind run wild.

Under these conditions, if you were to use these energies in an appropriate manner, you can intuitively know what is unfolding and ask for assistance from someone you trust to tell you the truth no matter what it may be.  Your intuition is strong now, but imagination can play a part. You must find out for sure what is imagined and what is real. 

As Saturn moves out of orb, there may still be some difficulties lingering until the South Node is no longer in orb as well.

Neptune conjunct natal South Node suggests uncertainty. When challenged, Neptune can cloud matters as well. Intuition will be strong under this aspect but ensure imagination is not influencing you.

SATURN AND NEPTUNE CONJUNCTION IN ARIES

We have a high-powered conjunction coming up with Saturn and Neptune.  Neptune entered Aries March 30, 2025, and will return into Pisces on October 22 and then make its return to Aries in January, 2026. 

Saturn moves into Aries on May 25, 2025 and returns to Pisces September 1; finally moving back into Aries in the middle of February 2026. 

Saturn and Neptune will be aligned in the early degrees beginning in May, 2025 and staying in close proximity in Aries until September 1. 

Uranus makes a Sextile to this positioning in July while Pluto (in Aquarius) will also make a sextile to this placement.  Those individuals with planets or angles in these areas in their astrology charts will be influenced by the overall configuration taking hold during these times.  More will be written as we maneuver our way closer to these other planets making aspects.

Saturn and Neptune Conjunction in Aries

Today, we will be touching on the influence of the conjunction of Saturn and Neptune. 

Saturn has to do with reality, focus, is serious in nature, disciplined, organized, structured and reliable.  Saturn is driven by the conscious mind and is in tuned with the material world and what the material world has to offer.

Neptune is illusive, mystical, spiritual, psychic, can be somewhat vague, can also be unreliable and often has to do with dreams, the meditative experience and is driven by the unconscious. 

So how will Saturn affect Neptune? 

Saturn tends to create stability and will clarify exactly what the psychic realms mean on a personal basis, due to both planets being in Aries.  Saturn will ask you if you are seeing things clearly as they are. Saturn wants you to focus.  It will want you to ensure that you can depend on what you feel and see in front of you. Saturn wants a solid foundation and for things to work out over the long haul. 

On the other hand, how will Neptune’s energy affect Saturn?

Neptune will ask Saturn to step out of its comfort zone and look at things from a different perspective.  There will be a lot of “what-ifs” and will also tell Saturn to not be so serious and stop worrying about the outcome, because in fact we might not know the outcome.  Neptune will ask Saturn to look inside for the answers and rely more on intuition and its senses. 

Together Neptune and Saturn will mold with one another seeking out facts, reach for assistance from higher sources, gain understanding although at times things will be vague and perhaps misunderstood.  Over time, things will solidify and make sense although turmoil will be a result until everything settles. All things taking hold under this influence will affect us on a personal level likely causing anxiety and concern for those who tend to allow this.  A part of us will hold on and even possibly martyr ourselves but we will gain wisdom because of the experience.  Reality and the mystical will try to find solace in what is unfolding as they join forces, pushing towards the greater good for all concerned.

The houses in the astrology chart that are being enhanced by these two planetary links will define what areas of life are involved.

The final results will be tied to fluctuations and mistrust and at the same time an understanding that this will align itself and likely teach a lesson that will not be forgotten.  How we confront this in our own personal terms, how we push for change that affects us, as well as the influence from those we are close to, will influence how this all works out.

Saturn and Neptune conjunction in Aries are unusual partners but with diligent efforts and concern for others in the coming months, our life events focused on the practical and merging with the mystical will be energized.

PLUTO CONJUNCT NATAL NORTH NODE IN AQUARIUS

As Pluto’s energies can often be felt by as much as 3° prior to when it becomes direct, those with their North Node in the sign of Aquarius would have been feeling a shift in their drive and their life’s course for about 3 years.  Pluto’s final and lasting path into Aquarius will take place November 20, 2024. 

Pluto will slowly make its way through Aquarius over the next 24 years.  During this time, it will contact everyone who has their North Node in the sign of Aquarius depending on what degree your North Node falls.  This influence can last several years and take some time before you recognize that your path in life has gone through a metamorphosis.

The North Node has to do with your path in life and often brings important people into your life when you are ready.  They can enter life for short periods of time having a profound influence or have a lasting impact by being close for many years to come.  They help you to align with your life’s purpose described by the North Node in your chart.  Because this area of life is new, its energies are often not very comfortable, especially in the beginning stages.  You, however, must pursue this avenue of expression as life will push you in that direction, with or without your consent. 

Pluto will give you hints along the way often through subtle means especially when you are first beginning this shift but over time you begin to understand the reason behind the changes that have come into your life.  Sometimes these changes take place without your consent, as mentioned, although on some level you agreed to this lesson prior to entering this life.  Taking some responsibility for what is taking place as this is part of the process.  A part of you understands that this is exactly what is required so there is no need to fight the process.
