As Neptune transits through our natal chart, it will be important to ensure that what we are experiencing as a result of Neptune’s energies is not coloured by our imagination. Neptune has been known, on occasion, to infiltrate our subconscious and to create flawed notions. Reality needs to be sought after and, in some cases, it is wise to go outside of self to confirm our ideas or thoughts. As we work our way through our current situation, many have mentioned that fear seems to dictate their every move. We have to come to terms with our unfolding story. Will we build our world on what is considered our requirements? Do we let the concern for others slide as we become more and more focused on our own safety? Do we matter more than others? Is our quest now just to simply survive? We are experiencing our current situation in order to move us in a certain direction. Life happens for a reason and if we are to learn from this, what are we here to change? Change begins with each and every one of us. Many of us, other than essential workers, certainly now have time for reflection. How have we been living our lives? What needs to change and what will we be like when this whole experience is over? Will we be a new person or will we slip back into the exact same attitudes and responses we had prior to this epidemic? Do we really want to go back to the old “normal”? This can be a massive life changing experience which we all share. How we respond will affect more than just ourselves. Any act of kindness and any show of love can help those caught up in the stress and fear of “what ifs”. Many of us practice mindfullness and understand that we cannot get caught up in concentrated negativity as it only builds more of this energy. At the same time, we understand acceptance and that just as our minds can create negativity, it too can create a more positive outlook. We can manage our thoughts and not react. We understand that focus is important regardless of how life is evolving around you. Worry and stress fragment our peace and inner contentment. We have the power to rise above this situation. Live in the moment as truly this moment is all we have. Were we previously too focused in the future? Were we too focused in the past? Were we too focused on ourselves? Amid worries and concerns due to the corona virus, we thought that it might be appropriate to provide a few details that determine under most conditions, good health indicators within the natal profile. It should be understood that these conditions within the chart can be mitigated by other influences also found in the chart. Rather than have people concerned about indicators of ill health found in the natal chart, we thought it more appropriate to discuss the more positive aspects related to the natal profile and potential. Health indicators can be found in several different areas of the natal chart; however challenging transits can influence some of these conditions, although the natal chart is our foundation. A favourable natal chart can diminish challenging transits. In general, what we are about to discuss will help to some degree understand the workings of health indicators found in the natal chart. It should be noted that positive attitude regardless of what the chart suggests can affect our lives in a very constructive way. The Sun, the Ascendant, the sixth and twelfth houses are the prime indicators dealing with health. A transiting outer planet moving through or connected to one of these positions in hard aspect does not indicate poor health. There must be several indicators pointing in the same direction to have an overall impact on the health of all individuals. The Sun is our vital energy along with Mars. If one or both of these planets are connected positively by trine or sextile, this would be considered favourable. Jupiter and Venus would likely be a positive influence especially if connected by trine or sextile. Even the conjunction can be favourable. In many cases almost any connection from Jupiter to the Sun is considered a positive aspect. Exercise and healthy eating habits will be foremost in our overall health (as well as hand washing and social distancing currently). We need to live healthy to assist our opportunistic aspects and planet positions which indicate good health. We always have a hand in our life. Mars is our energy and drive. If connected positively to the sixth house or ruling the sixth house and in favourable aspect, Mars’ energy can be complimentary as well. If the Sun rules or is found in the sixth house and favourably aspected within the natal chart, this can also be considered favourable. Mars is considered a malefic planet but if favourably connected, it does not have to be perceived in this manner. You will also have to have a look at the sixth house ruler and how it is aspected; if it receives favourable aspects from other planets in the natal profile, this can also be viewed as a positive indicator of an ability to overcome illness. Beyond these pointers, you will also have to take into consideration age as this plays a significant role in this delineation. A well aspected Ascendant will help with any recovery from illness and if Mars is closely conjunct and favourably aspected, it can often speak of a strong resilience or fight for survival. This will be aided by strong positive aspects from other planets as well. Saturn in positive aspect can indicate a strong constitution and a well aspected Mercury provides resilience when it comes to dealing from a mental perspective to illness. A strong Pluto gives powerful recovery potential as well as an ability to regenerate from many illnesses. Strong emphasis in the eighth house is often a positive indicator of resilience and recuperative abilities. The twelfth house is more tied to chronic conditions and this current Covid 19 is not considered chronic and will eventually pass. It is important to have a healthy lifestyle. Alcohol and drug addiction, sometimes connected to the twelfth house and the sign Pisces, makes the body more susceptible, so perhaps some of us will need to make alterations at this time. Challenges will often make us look a little deeper into our life and we may decide to make positive changes as a result of this pandemic. There are always valuable lessons to be learned and this certainly is a good time to reflect. In many cases, these periods point out our resilience and perseverance abilities. We are stronger than we think and together we can aid each other in many ways. Much has been said about our faltering economy and the current turmoil with our stock markets around the world. There is little doubt that life will be altered significantly in some form or another after this storm passes. What will our world look like and how will we rebound? Many have been laid off and many closures. Shut downs seem to be the answer to ensuring safe distancing and to contain the spread of this invisible threat. Some in power are suggesting that everyone return to work before we have won the battle. They say it can kick start the economy. Perhaps this is true but at what cost? In reality, we really do not know what impact will be experienced financially. Are we willing to let those that are susceptible to this virus be exposed for the sake of money? Perhaps we need to go beyond our own financial concerns and reach out with a helping hand for those that are struggling through care, support and love. We can all lend a helping hand in some fashion or another. It is the time to make sacrifices for the greater good. Who wants to be the individual responsible for saying who should live and who should not? In many ways, the control of this invisible threat is out of our hands and what unfolds over time will take place, with or without our consent. We do, however, have control over our actions that can affect the choice of putting human life ahead of money. We can make choices that benefit mankind. Our financial resources will eventually rebound and eventually our world financially will march on. The interesting question is what will we learn from this experience? We now realize how precious, yet fragile, life truly is. This threat does not care what colour our skin is, what we believe, how much we have in our bank account, what year we were born, what country we live in. We are all experiencing the same threat. We are truly one people, all brothers and sisters. We are all here for a short time in the grand scheme of things and experiencing life through our own involvement and attitude. Finances are secondary to life itself. We can’t replace a life nor can money make up for a loss. Sometimes life dictates and we just ride along its wave. Our attitude has a significant role in how life affects us at any time. Rise above the threat. Find your inner strength. Do your part and experience your life as it unfolds. Pluto over the next year or so will be between 22-26 degrees in the sign of Capricorn. There is little doubt that Pluto’s influence is upon us at this current time. Jupiter makes close contact (conjunction aspect) right to the end of the year also being found in the sign of Capricorn. Capricorn’s energies have to do with business and enterprise and work in a slow rather meticulous manner as they incorporate and align through diligent efforts on our part. Jupiter under all conditions tends to exaggerate and exemplify anything it touches. It builds and offers growth and often suggests opportunities and potential luck. It expands on things and in challenging situations can expand on this as well. However, Jupiter will often produce opportunistic outcome when it peaks. We will be experiencing a Full Moon today, April 7, 2020, at 10:35 p.m. EDT. The Pink (April) Supermoon will be at 18 degrees and 44 minutes Libra and will makes a quincunx to the planet Neptune which will be at 19 degrees of Pisces. A Full Moon is the culmination of events or the harvest time of our efforts. What we have started and the effort we have made will reflect the harvest we reap. If transiting Neptune is making a sextile to your natal Sun currently, your Sun will be either in Capricorn or Taurus. I have read, as I am sure many of you have as well, that we are currently experiencing a shift in consciousness. Do you feel it? What, if anything, can you do to prepare mentally for such a shift? Do you need to do anything? How will it affect you, if at all? These are questions we have heard being tossed around. Whether we choose to take action or not, the shift is in motion. How do we prepare? The energies, as with any energy, will touch us if and when we are ready. The personal experience of these energies only unfolds at the rate we are able to experience them. One individual may have already undergone an immense shift. The next individual may only have a few more things that need to surface to begin their new journey and yet another person may have years of prep work ahead of them. Preparation can be part of the process and many of us have been going through changes at an incredible rate in the recent past. What can we do to prepare? We can, but it is not necessary, have a look at our life and make changes if we feel we must. Most importantly, let go and recognize the eternal moment and its significance. Be present and allow. Are we ready? Think about that question for a moment. We would not be focused on this shift if we were not ready. Let go of the outcome and experience the process. How will it affect us? It is enlightening. This journey brings us into the moment and within that moment resides everything. Release our expectations? This experience may seem new, yet we also know the feeling, as though we are returning home. It is somehow familiar. Each one of us is part of the shift. Enjoy and be. Currently Neptune is in the sign of Pisces and those that have it in trine to its natal position currently would have been born between approximately 1958 to roughly 1971. Anyone born during this estimated period will have their natal positioning of Neptune in the sign of Scorpio. The trine occurs approximately at the age of 55 although it can vary somewhat (check your ephemeris for the exact degree date). If you are younger than 55, you have yet to experience the energies of this trine and if you are older than 55, you have already experienced these energies. Neptune is a very spiritual and an all-encompassing planet; that is to say that it helps you understand how we are all connected (brothers and sisters to one another). Neptune is a selfless sign and its energies often put us in other people’s shoes. With Neptune’s influence, we will feel what others feel and can become quite intuitive either consciously or from an unconscious level. We will likely have great empathy for the struggles others are going through and may wish to help in some way. Charity work or working behind the scenes could be areas of interest. As mentioned, Neptune is the most selfless sign in the zodiac and seldom wishes for anything in return. There is no ego involvement when it comes to what Neptune stands for, and its work is done out of the goodness and through compassion which often builds over this period. Those experiencing this aspect will feel for those less fortunate and may even connect so strongly for those going through challenging times that they take on their energies and have a difficult time moving away from these intuitive insights. Quite often, under this influence, the mystical door opens and those that have never walked this road may suddenly find themselves interested in such things as psychic revelations and the spiritual movement. Some turn to religion, both traditional and otherwise, feeling the need to go deeper within and examine life from a purely spiritual perspective. For those already on this journey (many will have strong ties to the element water in their chart, such as Grand Water Trines, the Sun, Moon or Ascendant in either Cancer, Scorpio or Pisces) this will likely be an inspiring period. Others may have a conglomeration of planets in the water houses (4, 8, 12). We cannot forget the Moon in the twelfth house as it carries a Piscean influences. The Sun in the fourth house would carry influences of Cancer and so forth. This can certainly be an enlightening period in life and many changes take place shortly after this revelation as we also go through our Saturn return at approximately 59. Take everything in stride as it takes some time for our subconscious to reveal what takes place within. Be prepared for an awakening of sorts and allow these energies full reign in order to experience the most energies possible under this influence. How would you finish off this statement – “One step forward...........”. Would it be “and two steps back”, or “in my journey of life” or would you simply leave the statement as it is? How you finish that statement is a good reflection of how you are currently viewing life. Is your current view a negative one of moving backwards (two steps back)? Even when life appears to be moving backward, it is not. Understanding “every event holds within it a valuable lesson” would alter this view or opinion immensely. Life is always moving forward even when it appears as though it is not. We learn our primary lessons from life when it is seemingly is in retreat. These difficult lessons are actually stepping stones. Most of our valued lessons stem from challenging conditions. If we can maintain this perspective, we will not be affected in a negative way mentally when life’s direction seems challenged. Some individuals with complete faith in the process actually welcome hard lessons as they know they personally will grow in leaps and bounds when the lesson has been completed. There are also some individuals that make negativity their identity and they believe unconsciously that by maintaining a victim status, this gives them an identity to the world. One step at a time is a great motto. We can live by accepting what has happened in our lives and then move on beyond those events. How we react to anything in life is our choice. Shall we allow an event to define us or shall we take from all events the lessons presented and grow from them? Challenges in life are ideal tools to help us grow and expand our understanding or they can assist us to change our direction in life. There are times that we need to start over again, beginning anew and changing direction from the course we were on. Sometimes life events will push us in that direction. Other times we are meant to stay determined and committed to what life has presented us with. What a wonderful feeling of accomplishment when we have conquered a difficult situation. What amount of faith does this build in us? Our reactions are always a choice. Even when life seems to dictate, our response is what we control. Is our response to life’s conditions “one step forward”? Recognize the potential in this statement. Why would we want to view life from the perspective that we may move one step forward but then likely we will move two steps back? If this is our belief, this is how we will direct our life’s journey. Our posts are written well in advance and this post was not written with COVID19 in mind. We are not downplaying the seriousness of what is taking place in our world currently. That being said, what is said here can certainly be read with our current events in mind. This lesson at hand is certainly a big one. Do not learn it through fear. Do what you can to be safe but utilize this very “private” time we have been given reflect and grow. Be safe!
