This transit between Pluto and Mars is potentially a very potent one. You will have to review your planets’ placements to see if Pluto and Mars are linked in your chart and also check what other aspects are connected to Pluto and Mars in your natal chart. This will help determine the transiting effects on your life. Check to see which house transiting Pluto is located in as well as its natal position. You should check closely if there are other transits affecting Mars or planetary links that closely resemble this configuration such as Pluto with Uranus as this will help to define the intensity. You should also check which house natal Mars is located in to determine its overall effects as well. As mentioned, this is a powerful aspect. Pluto and Mars together often indicate a warning signal and if you also have at least two other planetary links that also point in the same direction, (Uranus links) you will have to watch for haste in action, especially dealing with motorized vehicles and machinery. Potential danger lie in these areas but is certainly avoidable when caution is exercised. This is a high energy transit that must be contained or expressed in a vigorous although gentle manner. This is not the post that was written for today but this morning as I sat to proofread today's post somehow this post from last year opened without my realizing it. Who am I to argue. Here is the post that the powers that be want to be published today.....someone must need to read it! DO NOT LOSE YOUR PERSPECTIVE Do not allow yourself to lose focus of your own personal ideologies. It is important not only during good times but especially through hard lessons to continue to share, love and be compassionate. We must always be the mirror image of what we want to see in our world around us. It is said that currently we are in a transitional stage. As with all transition periods, comes times of turbulence. Be compassionate and share love with your fellow brothers and sisters. Stay focused on the positive. It is plentiful, if we care to pay attention. We may be in a state of flux but it is important to stay focused on our true journey, which is based on of love. We can rise above any global event. When we focus on the blessings which are too numerous to list in a day, we keep our energy levels high above the levels that perpetuate fear and hatred. Live each day in a manner that serves you best. Do not allow the actions of others to intrude into your loving world. If we live in fear and hatred, then the actions of those lacking in love have achieved their goals. Peace, contentment, joy.....these cannot be obtained through violence, discontent, hatred. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. stated this clearly: “The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it. Through violence you may murder the liar, but you cannot murder the lie, nor establish the truth. Through violence you may murder the hater, but you do not murder hate. In fact, violence merely increases hate. So it goes. Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness: only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate: only love can do that.” We are one. Your beliefs in life are not worth having if they cannot stand up during times of trial. Let the light of source continue to be your guide and stay true to your own personal journey. Nothing can bend the strong arm of compassion and together as a force we can help channel hate in different directions. Hate is the absence of love. If you fill hate with love, it can no longer exist. All actions create waves of energy. These waves are continual and once they have returned, you will reap the harvest of what you have sown. The final Dispositor in Astrology is basically a chain of command. One planet, sometimes two planets, rule the chart. If there is a planet in its own sign, for example, Saturn in Capricorn, it becomes the final Dispositor or chief in command. The Dispositor pattern is determined by the planets in the signs. For example, start with the Ascendant and for this example, we will use Sagittarius as the rising sign (Ascendant). With this example of Sagittarius as the rising sign, which is ruled by Jupiter (the natural ruler of Sagittarius), Jupiter is in Aries and so Aries natural ruler is Mars. Mars is in Scorpio and Scorpio is naturally ruled by Pluto. Pluto is in the sign of Leo and Leo rules the Sun. The Sun is in Aquarius and Aquarius is ruled by Uranus. Uranus is in the sign of Cancer and Cancer is ruled by the Moon and the Moon is ruled by Scorpio bringing the ruler back to Pluto. We have not yet touched on Venus which is in Sagittarius ruled by Jupiter and Jupiter is in Aries. We have already followed that route which brought us to Pluto. We have not touched on Saturn which is in Libra ruled by Venus which is ruled by Sagittarius going back again to Jupiter and following that same route to Pluto. We have not touched on Neptune which is ruled by Venus and Venus is in Sagittarius bring us back to Jupiter and ending that cycle to Pluto. Pluto is the common denominator and will be the final Dispositor in our example. Saturn in Libra and Venus in Capricorn are planets in mutual reception. Libra rules Venus and Saturn rules Capricorn and this is what creates the mutual reception. These two planets will be very significant in our chart example and in the person’s life that is being prepared for. Having these two planets in each other’s signs stop the chain of command and makes them both very significant in the chart. If planets are in their own sign in a chart, for example Saturn in Capricorn, the examination goes no further and this becomes the final Dispositor. Sometimes there are two interplanetary links that constantly come to the forefront. In this case, both of these planets are extremely important in the birth chart and together share the rulership of the chart. The ruler of the Ascendant is also been called the ruler of the chart, and its planetary ruler is of extreme importance as well. For example, Sagittarius as an ascendant will make Jupiter extremely important in the life of this individual with Sagittarius on the ascendant. If Libra were the rising sign, then Venus would be very important to this individual. Remember that the ascendant sign is how we relate to the world through our outside expression and the individual with Libra rising would then be very social, very pleasing to meet, would seek harmony and balance in life and would resonate in this way to those that they meet especially during their initial meeting. The final Dispositor is the planet which other planets depend on and this planet will have a profound affect in our lives. In the example we used at the start of this post, Pluto will play a prominent role in the unfolding of this individual and Pluto will have assistance from Jupiter. As a result, these two planetary links provide the needed stimulus to propel this individual forward to reach their life’s objectives. Transformations will play a big part in that unfolding. Follow your chain of command and see which planet or planets affect you in a direct and creative manner. This will be the driving force and motivating factor in your life. Uranus’ energies bring about revolution, sudden change, drastic action and awakening. Its action is dramatic and often leads to required development and inspiration or catastrophic change. These developments are brought about through outside forces in our lives which will lead to a much more evolved understanding of our life’s circumstances. Uranus often provides you with insight into what it is in your life that needs changing and suggests a new direction is a requirement for the soul’s development. If you follow through on Uranus’s suggestions, the disruption, although often dynamic, will not be as disruptive and awe-inspiring as it would be if you did not move forward voluntarily into these new dimensions of life. If you are hesitant or refuse to budge from your standpoint, the result is often much more forceful and disruptive. It is important to pay attention to our body and its reaction to life. Our body will tell us when something is out of sort and also when we need to find balance. Paying attention and over-reacting are two completely different approaches to our physical condition. Some can become obsessive with the body and all its functions and intricacies. They notice every quirk and minor malfunction or ailment and become overly concerned leaning towards anxieties and obsessions with their health. We can use our bodies as a gauge on how we are reacting to events and people in our lives. When life is out of balance and we begin taking on too much (This not only include things that are conflicting and harmful for us, but also when we become overly influenced by stimuli in life) and mentally, physically and spiritually we are pushed beyond our healthy capacities, the body will reflect this in one way or another. Negativity can have profound effects on the body and when we choose to deal with these issues without owning them, we notice that we no longer feel weighted down. There are also times when life runs perfectly and we overdo a good thing. This might sound rather obscure, but sometimes we burn the candle at both ends. We tend to all conditions and events to infiltrate our calm and balance the more challenging they are. We can become so wrapped in life’s situations that we become ill because of them. Nervous disorders, mental disturbances and depression often follow a traumatic life experience. These conditions certainly hinder our happiness and at times, they can even make us ill. Living life and all its experiences is important but holding on to grief and sadness is not productive and can cause problems if you do not deal with them accordingly. Remember we are not at the mercy of life although there will be times when this is how it appears. We have control over our reactions to life events. Recognize the ego’s deceptive qualities and do not be led astray. Find balance in all things. Do not own events or issues. They are not yours. They are simply events. Venus is often associated with love and partnership. Pluto connected to Venus can bring about a sexual encounter with deep undercurrents. If you are not in a sexual relationship at this time and you have transiting Pluto in opposition to Venus in your natal chart, this aspect may bring about a connection of intensity. The New Moon will be at 10 degrees Leo today, August 2, 2016. As with all New Moon phases, the Sun and Moon are in conjunction and with this particular New Moon the Moon and Sun are also in trine to Transiting Saturn. A New Moon is a time for beginnings and in the sign of Leo this will be a time when you can take a leading role with moving towards a direction that not only enhances your creative potential (particularly if this New Moon is found in the fifth house), but also provides an aggressive instinctual push with reaching your objectives. If you have had an idea or have been putting together a plan that has the potential for growth on some level, (whether this be on a personal level, through a business proposition or with the purpose of reaching a goal of any kind) this combination (especially so with Saturn providing stability and purpose) can be quite rewarding when the Full Moon in Leo reaches its culmination point in about six months’ time. Saturn, although in trine to this conjunction of the Moon and Sun, does suggest that you take your time with these objectives and also asks you to make sure the foundation for your plans or goals is built on solid ground. Saturn will make sure that you do the groundwork or will at least propose that you take this route so that the opportunities that are in place will have the framework for success and a prosperous outcomes. Once again, this can be on a personal level of achievement or perhaps a business proposal. It is wise to have a look at your natal chart and see if you have other planets making aspects to this conjunction (as well as the Transiting Saturn). This will help you understand what areas of life are involved as well as whether you will have challenges in reaching your goals or if the transition will run smoothly. You will have the potential for greater success in reaching your objectives if for example you have Jupiter or Venus as part of the equation and particularly so if they are in fortunate aspects to this configuration. Pluto’s energies in Astrology are always suggestive of change. It brings about some transformation in life, change that usually have been trying to reach your attention for some time. Saturn is quite contrary to Pluto. Saturn resists change and adheres to what is known and comfortable. As you can imagine, these two energies (Pluto and Saturn) can be quite problematic. Pluto is about evolutionary change and suppressing these needed changes can cause havoc in life. It is beyond the normal ranges of change that Pluto is asking for and in many cases it first appears in the subconscious and then comes to the surface for your acknowledgement and then causes change in your outer world. The suppression of Pluto’s energies can actually become unsafe, as these energies need to be released. You are much better off dealing with what stands before you and assisting the change than you are trying to keep things as they are or to ignore the needed change. Disruption and even violent outbursts of energy can be the result of quashing or ignoring these energies. You need to focus on bringing about the change in your life that is being suggested or something will make it happen through force. Forceful changes are aggressive and disruptive. Often after much deliberation, you will find that the final changes that you decided upon were inevitable after all and although it may take some adjustment to adapt to these new avenues of expression, in the end they are just what the doctor ordered. Pluto brings about development and progress often after some struggle and the recognition of what needs to take place in your life. What takes place in your life now will have ramifications at a later date often when Saturn squares this position in 7 years and again when it opposes it in 14 years. Sometimes the changes that take place have to do with finances or the structure of your life. Potentially your work may be involved. These areas of life will become a focal point although much will depend on where Saturn is transiting in your chart (house position). The house position will be the area of life that is being affected. We are continuing our look at Neptune aspecting Venus from our previous posts on July 25 and 27, 2016. When transiting Neptune makes an aspect to Venus make sure your blinders are off. Keep them out of reach as you will be tempted to put them on. Do your struggles never seem to cease? If it feels as though your back is against the wall and you are not sure which way to turn, remember the darkest moment is always just before the dawn. When we allow ourselves to bask in the sorrows of ego’s message, we completely identify with its message and making it our own. It is then that we become blind and numb to the truth. We become overwhelmed because we forget how to turn it off and are bombarded with ego’s constant defiling message that drowns hope. Recognize negativity. Put ego in its proper place. Channel your thoughts in a different direction. No matter how hard, force yourself to see the positive in each and every event you experience. In the beginning, it will be hard to find that one small positive spark but if you look deep enough, even in the most bleak moment, there is a shred of light. There will be moments for all of us that we are faced with life changing decisions. All change can be difficult if we do not let go of the passed to move into our future. Our positive decisions can open doors of opportunities unlike we have ever know. It is frightening to release our grip on the past even if the things and people of our past no longer serves us but we do have the strength to let go so that we can reach forward to grasp our future. If we focus on those things that we do not enjoy or like, our life will feel as though it is heavy and stagnant. If we are positive, we will have faith in ourselves and in the events in our life. Change is inevitable. If we fight it, we create discord.
