- Neptune Sextile Pluto in Astrology
The sextile between Neptune and Pluto is a long standing aspect and it has been in influence for 70 years, therefore, everyone under the age of 70 will have this aspect in their birth chart. This is a very sensitive placement between these two outer planets and is said to stimulate psychic and clairvoyant abilities, particularly if the Sun or Moon are also aspected by these planets. The closer the sextile is to being direct, the stronger the influence. This sextile began in the Second World War around 1942 and deals with inner exploration and our mystical journey. In my opinion during the onset of the Second World War many of those involved or affected would have spent time in contemplation as to the “why” behind this war and through this contemplation they would have learned a great deal about themselves during their plight. This would have taken place on a global scale and even those that were fighting and that were not influenced by this sextile in their birth chart, would have had it in transit and as a result, it would have been affecting different areas of their natal chart. Pluto and Neptune both deal with the subconscious. Neptune deals with spirituality while Pluto deals with transformation. I am sure you can imagine the influence these two giants in Astrology would play in the lives of those with these energies strongly influencing their lives. This sextile deals with the collective and ideology. Many are swayed through these channels and are very innovative when dealing with problems faced by humanity. There are those that can use their psychic abilities to aid others in their quest for truth. Many of us who have this sextile strongly placed in our birth chart have the potential for expanding our understanding of the psychic and mystical journey that we share. When regularly with groups of people with shared interests, these potentials can surface and become part of our everyday experience. It is believed that if we follow our dreams, we can make them a reality. This holds true as we mold our reality through belief structure and expectations in life. There are many with varied “claire” talents and psychic ability with this sextile who openly use these techniques as tools to better our world. With our talents we can infiltrate our consciousness if we have a willingness to explore the outer regions of the mind and our true connection with the world of mysticism. Many will experience precognitive dreams and many have psychic healing powers. We can work with our dreams as well as help others decipher their dreams and use these tools as guiding factors in our lives. There is a great desire for justice and goodness amongst many of these people and a major factor in their lives is to assist others reach their spiritual potential and awaken to themselves. You could check the transits of Uranus (which is in Aries at present) as it trines your natal Pluto and goes into opposition to natal Neptune. This should awaken many of the individuals that have this placement strong in their charts. The influence may come from others and the areas of life that will be affected will be associated with the placement of these natal planets in the birth chart. You could use an orb of 5 degrees approaching and still feel the effects 2-3 degree separating. - Self Doubt
There are many forms of self-doubt but the one constant ingredient stems from the ego’s interference. The ego tends to stagnate our growth through its necessity for control and tries to regulate how we feel about ourselves. This does not have to have a negative impact on us as it can provide us with positive information about our desire for and ability to create continued growth. Without the ego’s stimulation to push forward in life and its push for us to believe in ourselves, we would ultimately stagnate in every area of life. In some very important ways, the ego reinforces our positive traits in times of self-doubt. The ego, however, does have many faces and some focuses of ego are not in our best interests. The ego can invade our sense of self and makes us hold on to ideas and concepts that feed our ego, sometimes magnifying our own importance to a point that we feel somehow better than others. This is a common burst of the ego’s intent. It promotes a sense of exploded importance. When ego is controlled, we understand that each and every one of us do have our own special talents which does make us special but certainly not better than our neighbour who also has their own special talent. Ultimately, we are all equal. The ego can also stands in our way of self-knowledge and can send out self-defeatist attitudes and beliefs that hinder our growth. When ego is put in its proper place, true growth can prevail in many areas of life, so that the primary purpose of ego is to help nurture spiritual values and the understanding that we are all spiritual beings living in physical bodies. This physical body is a vehicle to temporarily house our subconscious. We are to honour it but it is available to us to use it as a tool to obtain a conscious understanding of whom we truly are. If we invest too much time identifying with the ego (and there are many times throughout or lives that we take this route as we are not totally aware of our cosmic consciousness and our connection with the greater whole) we lose track of our true destiny and our calling. We become wrapped up in material and mental ambitions. We thwart our connection to the true self and actually lose our true identity. Should our goal not be to reunite with our inner consciousness? Should we not control the ego so as to use it in a positive manner so that it can help propel us in our proper direction and open up the channels within that allow entry to these hidden routes to our consciousness? Self-doubt is certainly an obstacle in our evolution. We can avoid many mislead detours leading us away from our greater purpose when we control our ego and use it as a positive tool. We are here to define ourselves and our uniqueness. Together we can stimulate our true potential to spread love and compassion within our own circles and eventually spreading far and beyond our current influence. Do not allow self-doubt to stagnate your intended growth or from following the path that leads to self-discovery and spiritual understanding. We are one and as a joint force we can spread all that is positive and nurturing. We can assist our world and promote peace to all. Is this not part of our purpose? Please “Like” us on Facebook. - Building on Faith
Faith is a difficult concept when one relies on a rational thought process. Faith stands apart from what could be considered a logical and/or physical concept. Faith is not something that one can buy or receive from someone else. Faith is a knowing that cannot be taught; it just is! Faith is not necessarily a religious experience. To build on faith, you only require one action, acceptance. Faith is not an idea or even a belief structure as these are finite. Faith is infinite yet translucent in its nature. You cannot put your finger on it and you cannot suggest that it is a living thing, although in many ways it is the living matter behind all that is. Faith is a knowing of the truth. It is a knowing that truth is alive and living within you. It has no material base although it encompasses a solid foundation that you can build on. Faith is not a concept or idea. It is a knowing that will release us from the anxieties of life. Faith involves letting go of your perceptions of how you “think” life should be. Having faith is a knowing that life is moving exactly and precisely as it should always be, regardless of the mind’s interaction. Faith is knowing that you will always be on track even in the face of adversity or judgement from others. Open your heart to the natural faith within. Release fear, judgement and expectations. You are always on path, living in the eternal moment, encompassed by love. Have faith in this! Please “Like” us on Facebook. - Neptune in Astrology
Neptune is the mysterious planet that ruled the sign Pisces. Neptune is very subtle in its nature and is known as the planet of illusion, inspiration and psychic perception. Those with a strong Neptune in their birth chart often have mystical inclinations and psychic abilities. Neptune also has an ability to deceive and colour reality, and it places blinders on many when in transit. Neptune also has to do with artistic abilities and inspirational writing. It has to do with musical talent and many with strong Neptune inclinations make great actors as they are able to losing themselves within the part that they are portraying. Neptune also rules mystery and many a mystery novel have been written through the influence of Neptune’s imaginary insight. There are the unfortunate ones who indulge in drugs and alcohol in an attempt to withdraw from some of life’s more challenging moments and during these times Neptune is often found playing havoc in their charts. The twelfth house is the natural ruler of Pisces and Neptune is also connected with this house. The twelfth house has to do with places of confinement and often deals with institutions such as hospitals and even asylums. The twelfth house is known as the dustbin of the zodiac, and this is often the place where we cover up life’s tumultuous conditions in the hope that in some way they will disappear. This type of action is often facilitated through the influence of Neptune. Dreams and dream psychology are also areas ruled by Neptune. Someone with strong Pisces or a number of planets in aspect to Neptune can become so inclined and are able to decipher the meanings behind our dreams. Although Neptune through transit often colours the way we are viewing current circumstances, it also provides us with hidden or subdued talents. Through the use of an often overextending perception, abilities can produce psychic understanding about events that we normally are not able to penetrate. Be sure to view your world clearly when Neptune passes over important points in your birth chart. Putting people on pedestals and viewing life through rose coloured glasses is often an offshoot during these unbridled times when Neptune plays games with reality. Neptune also rules doctors, psychiatrists and anyone who goes below the surface of everyday life. If you can find a way to use the penetrating abilities that Neptune offers, you can see through illusion and find the answers that might have been hidden or may be dormant for extended periods of time. Using your intuitive understanding and being open to dialogue from other sources (beyond the realms of this earth and material living) will help you find places that you might not have known were there. Meditation techniques and mystical alignments are key ingredients to unlocking the true potential of Neptune’s deeper side and unlocking channels to the psychic connection we all share. - The Art of Forgiveness
In times of depression or deep sadness due to someone else’s actions, are we still able to forgive--even the most intrusive behaviours or actions? Are we able to separate the self from the ego’s reaction? Are we emotionally mature enough to reject hate and bitterness due to someone’s action? Regardless of the event or the intentions, is there forgiveness? How do we “allow” and move forward? Hostility, revenge, hate.....these are automatic primary reactions. Forgiveness, however, is not always an easy task. Letting go and moving beyond the hurt can be difficult, as the ego relentlessly wants some type of justice. But, these that are the hardest things to do, are the very things that we must do for our own health and wellbeing. Events may not seem fair and in many cases they probably are not, but somehow we must learn to forgive even the most formidable acts but not necessarily for those that carried them out. Most of all, we must let go for ourselves. Hanging on to hate and wanting vengeance absolutely serves no purpose. In reality, the emotional stress of carrying this baggage can and will bring on mental and physical dis”ease”. How do we learn to forgive when someone takes away something we treasure, such as our resilience, our serenity or our hope? Unfortunately, many of these individuals that hurt other and have a total disregard for their actions are so discontent with their own lives that they feel (whether consciously or unconsciously) that they need to try to bring other to their emotional state. We have all heard the term “Misery needs company”. Feeling sad, lonely and unloved is a difficult place to exist. There are many reasons people allow themselves to exist under these conditions. They may have developed emotionally under similar conditions...not knowing anything different. They may have experienced events in their life that they have not worked through or there could be mental or other emotional conditions. Does this negate the atrocities that some of these individuals commit? Does it somehow make it alright? Not to those that have suffered at their hands or from their words. The individuals that are the most difficult to love, are they not the individuals that require our love the most? We must however know our own limitations and if our emotional or physical health suffers as a result of something out of our control, we must love ourselves enough to walk away from the situation. To live our lives in pursuit ofjustice and/or revenge and to allow ourselves to be filled with hate can only bring us in a place of sorrow, anger, resentment and disease. These emotional places will never offer solace and peace. Letting go and forgiving is perhaps one of the hardest thing that we will have to do in our lives. Holding on to grief and resentment can and will only erupt within the structures of our being and its fruit produces only more suffering. Many hold onto and eventually own these repressive feelings. Many do not consciously realize that this is a choice and by making this choice we perpetuate these feelings of grief and torment. What we so despise in others, we grow in our own inner garden. If we despise hate and anger in others, do those individuals that we come in contact throughout our lives not despise our anger and resentment in the same way? Forgiveness breaks the cycle. Inner peace will never be found without forgiveness. Those that have wronged us may not deserve our forgiveness, but WE do! Karma will be the judge and the jury. It does not need your help or focus. If these individuals will not accept your love and are not willing to help themselves, forgive and release yourself from the situation. Wish them well in the hopes that they learn from their life’s experiences. Allow love to grow even from of the darkest corners of your being and reap the rewards from these actions. This is the story waiting to be told. - Transiting Jupiter Conjunct Pluto in Leo in Astrology
As transiting Jupiter is now midway into Leo, this post applies to those born between 1948-1957. There are some who will have Pluto in the late degree of Leo born in 1958. You will have to check your birth data to find out if this post applies to you. Transiting Jupiter is in the 15-29 degree Leo range from September 2014-August 2015. Jupiter goes into retrograde off and on during this time so you will have to check your ephemeris for the correct dates. Transiting Jupiter can be felt by those that are sensitive to its influence, 5 degree approaching and 3-5 degrees separating. Jupiter moves through its complete cycle of the horoscope every 12 years, so those that are going to experience this transit have also felt its influence 12 years ago, 24 years ago, and so on. During this transit of Jupiter, transiting Saturn, Uranus and Pluto are also within this 15-20 degree range, check your ephemeris for dates when they are at the 14-15 degree mark. Uranus and Pluto are in this degree towards the end of February and into March of 2015. Be sure to mark your calendar when these two giants meet transiting Jupiter. Jupiter will enhance these two planetary forces during this time and you can expect transformations and unexpected changes to your life if you have Pluto in the 14-15 degree of Leo in your birth chart. In this post we will speak primarily about the influence of Transiting Jupiter on your natal Pluto. You will find that when this transit influences your Pluto, you will work very diligently towards a goal that personally describes you. Depending where you Natal Pluto is located, this area of life will provide you with information as to how you might use this energy to your advantage. In general, you will have been working in this area of life over the past and now the fruits of your labour come to realization. You may strive to gain power in this area of life and this transit often provides you the push needed to move in the intended direction and achieve more than what you would normally accomplish. Be careful on how you choose to direct this energy as often there are issues with people in positions of authority and you might step on toes to gain recognition for your efforts. It is hard, however, to use this energy in a subtle manner; therefore, it is wise to process what you are trying to achieve before you move headlong into this expression. If no one gets hurt and you do not push the issues by taking too much control, the outcome will probably be exactly what you wanted it to be or at least along those lines. The prevailing urge that this energy provides is a time of self-reflecting and you can clearly see your motivations and work in this direction with little restraint on your part. How well you achieve what you set out to do depends a great deal on how you go about it and to what ends the results will manifest. Many become obsessed with this power drive and will push themselves hard to achieve their end result and this transit provides you with plenty of push to succeed. This transit does provide you with the opportunity to create something magnificent and long lasting in your life, as often the changes are similar to a new beginning. Often we leave the past behind and forge ahead, although in many cases the route is not a foreign one. We can awaken to a new height of achievement and advance our cause. In the alternative, we can run roughshod over others in order to achieve at any cost. The choice is yours to make. Use this energy in a positive manner as it will not return in its intensity again and the next time Jupiter makes this contact to Pluto will be in 12 years but without the effects of Pluto and Uranus. - Letting Go of Worry
During the course of life, there are often times that we allow ourselves to become stressed and we worry. During these times (which can be extended), we have to stop to analyse why we are concerned and worried. What can we do to change the situation or circumstances that are causing this anxiety? Can we actually do something to change things or is it out of our hands? Is the problem really ours? This latter question is one that deserves particular attention. Most times if we analyse the situation, we realize that the issue actually involves someone else. If this is the case, ask yourself, “How is worry going to resolve this situation? Many of us can become so wrapped up in other people’s concerns that we lose a little part of ourselves in the process. We actually take on these concerns and make them our own. This serves little to resolve the issue other than to give us a little insight into how the other person may be feeling. Once we understand or at least have an idea of what the other person is actually experiencing, we will feel compassion which will result in love generated for that individual. This is the only positive thing that can result from taking on other people’s anxieties. Once you have aroused your compassion, (which can be accomplished without taking on someone else’s issues) it is time to let it go. Release it before you begin to make it your own. You can offer the individual involved your care and loving concern and perhaps you might even have some good advice, but that is as far as you can realistically go. Holding on or owning these worries serves no useful purpose and eventually will bring you down and in this state you can provide nothing viable to aid in the solution to the issues. When we experience traumatic events or events that do not seem to fit into our idea of how our life should be, we again take this route. Experience the event by accepting what has happened and filter through what you can do to alleviate the condition. It may be a trying time especially if we fight what has already taken place (and we cannot turn back the hands of time). Process the event by facing the situation. Accept that it has happened but do not own the condition. Ultimately, to move beyond the situation, you have to let go of the conditions and find the appropriate way to move forward. We are in no way downplaying any of life’s testing moments and there will be moments in life when you may feel that there is no solution and no way out, but letting go and letting life take its course is often the best way to look at things. Holding on to hurtful incidents that you have no control over only serves to weigh you down. If we focus on the negative this will only leaves you with more of the same and this can take you to places that you really do not want to go. Understand that everything happens for a reason and as we all know the greatest lessons in life become our biggest learning tools. Look at these experiences as important opportunities for growth and building blocks of the future. Often these conditions push us in alternate directions that later on prove to be exactly where we needed to go. We go through these difficult lessons---these sometimes life altering conditions--to get to that place of understanding and renewed growth and new beginnings. If we fight the conditions and refuse to learn the lesson at hand, it will only keep resurfacing until we cannot deny what must be. Stand tall in the face of adversity and know that you will overcome. You will be victorious and come out a better and stronger individual as a result of life’s lessons. There will be moments we see as obstacles throughout our life’s route. How will you deal with them? Will you turn around and not make it to the destination? Will you fight the road block and chisel away at it until it is gone or will you accept that it is there, climb over it and continue on your way? Please “Like” us on Facebook. - Suicidal Tendencies
This is a very touchy subject and one that is looked at with great respect and care. For those that have or are contemplating suicide, please share your thoughts and pain with a professional. Please know that the only guarantee in life is change. Often the greatest times of stress are pathways leading to the greatest rewards in life. We have often heard it said that....”Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem.” This is a powerful statement. Death is certainly permanent and suicidal thoughts are certainly temporary (much to the sufferer’s denial). We have to question, however, the word “solution”. How is suicide a solution? For those that are shattered by loved ones contemplating suicide, it is imperative that you do not own someone elses’ thoughts or decisions. You, in no way, are responsible for these thoughts or actions. We have no control over other people’s choices. The best we can do it to ensure them that we are there to offer love, compassion and whatever we can offer to assist on the road to recovery. Our brain is an integral part of our human vehicle-- no different that our lungs or heart. Ignoring a heart attack will not void the damage an attack may cause. Ignoring suicidal thoughts will not create a solution. Conditions in life can accelerate to the point of feeling that there seems to be no way out of the current challenging circumstances. For you and me, we can rationalize and find that glimmer of hope that assists in turning our point of view from hopeless to hopeful. Individuals that are suicidal believe that they are doing family members a service by ending their lives. They feel their situations are hopeless and that no one cares. They do not understand that the next turn in the road can move them into a completely new and different direction. Reassurance that you are there to listen, that you care and that you want them to choose life is important. Do not be shocked by what you hear and do not judge. Irrational thoughts cannot be rationalized. If you feel the situation is an emergency, deal with it as such. If a loved one lost control of their vehicle due to speed and you had previously warned them that speed kills, would you feel responsible for this accident? ......of course not. Why then, if you have been supporting someone who has had suicidal tendencies and they have lost their battle, should you feel responsible for this loss? A terrible loss, yes but certainly not your responsibility. As you care for others, be sure to care for yourself. Always stay within your personal limits if someone is threatening you with suicide and be sure to talk to someone. There are many help lines and groups to assist you in sharing your feelings and experiences. - Uranus in Your Astrology Chart
Uranus, the planet of revolution and sudden, often drastic change, often causes havoc in people’s lives when in transit. It is the ruler of Aquarius, the water bearer, and is commonly known as the awakener. Its influence functions as a huge factor in making necessary changes in your life. Uranus makes changes in areas of life that have outgrown their usefulness and require alteration and liberation from anything that could be considered useless tradition or restrictive in nature. It creates a desire for the new and unique, and it often produces this in unexpected and unconventional ways. Uranus moves through each sign in approximately 7 years and takes a full 84 years to circle the zodiac. During its movement, it creates quick results and a feeling of liberation and freedom from restriction. It governs universal brotherhood and is humanitarian in its nature. Uranus will force you to have an honest look at life’s issues and then make necessary changes. If you choose not to adhere to what is being proposed, it often acts in a much more abrupt manner and in ways that are often out of your control. Uranus is rebellious in its nature and pushes one into independent thinking with a flair for the unconventional and unique. Uranus also has been known to produce shocking awakening when ones eyes have been closed to what is required. It governs universal truths and intuition and anyone with strong Uranus tendencies has a unique way of translating these truths, quite often in an abrupt matter-of-fact fashion. Uranus’ action is unpredictable, imaginative and also very inspirational. It is the higher octave of Mercury and therefore is considered a planet linked to the mental process. It deals with potential outcomes and is “future” oriented. Uranus pushes one to come out into the open and express their uniqueness and creativity as well as advanced mental quickness and agility, similar to Mercury, although the thinking process may be considered bohemian in its nature. It rules electricity and anything electronic, such as computers and technology and its newest innovations. Uranus is anything but conventional. Where Uranus is located in your chart will be where you choose to reveal your originality and uniqueness. If for example you have Uranus closely linked to the Ascendant in the first house, your originality will shine through for all to see. Someone with strong Uranus influence would be considered a bit of an eccentric and they would not be ashamed of this flair as it makes them stand apart from the crowd. Uranus will push you to be different and to be proud of it too. - Working Towards a Better Future
As we gain momentum in our lives and push towards our goals, we will be required to review our life from time to time. During these moments, it is important to pay particular attention to our direction in life and by what means we are achieving our desired objectives. Are we moving ahead with our aspirations with a clear plan for the future? Are we making decisive plans to reach these intentions or are we allowing ourselves to be at the mercy of life’s directives? After reviewing our current route in life, it will be apparent that we are always on course, even if we are questioning this fact. All life events are meant to be, and we are never really off track with our eventual destiny. We are constantly making little adjustments along our road of life and addressing these conditions, often without even being aware of the changes we are making. Often these changes or mental adjustments are done on a subconscious level. The course is set and we are on target. We certainly will experience twists and turns along the way, but this is our life and we learn from these experiences. We are here to learn about life’s choices and to make plans that will alter our consciousness and push us towards a more “whole” approach to life. All these things that we consider as stumbling blocks actually enhance life’s opportunities. Life is like an electrical current always moving along the set course. Yes, we can shut off the switch, but in the off position the current still waits to be released and can “in a flick of a switch” continue on its course. Your objective view on life and current mind frame possess future potentialities. You mold the future by belief structures and expectations. You can choose the path that contains many hurdles (and lessons hard learned) or you can choose the path of least resistance through acceptance. We all learn in our own way and through our own methods. We will subconsciously choose our best learning methods. You can find peace. It already resides within. Accept and release it. Everything you need is not only attainable but already exists, and this is apparent upon reflection. Your life is in your hands. You mold your reality. You are in control. Move forward with this in mind and seek out all that is relevant to the ongoing, unfolding story of your life.
