As Jupiter moves through the Zodiac, taking approximately 12 years to do a complete cycle, moving about one sign each year, it will interact with all our planetary placements and the four angles (ASC, DC, IC, MC) in our chart.  Transiting Jupiter will, at some point, make an opposition to Natal Saturn’s placement in our chart.

Jupiter is considered a favorable planet, usually indicating promising outcomes and potential growth even when in challenging aspect to most planets with the exception of Saturn.  Saturn’s and Jupiter’s energies are just too conflicting in nature.  Saturn restricts and delays and creates difficult conditions that must be met and eventually remedied.  Jupiter, on the other hand, is about growth, expansion, positive energies which can lead to remarkable results.

An Opposition aspect in Astrology is 180° and represents a tug of war or tension between the energies.  There must be a compromise with the energy forces.  In almost all situations with an Opposition aspect other people are part of the equation.

With Jupiter opposition natal Saturn, move slowly and listen to other people’s advice especially those that you consider reliable and have your best interests at heart. With caution and an open mind, move ahead using a conscientious approach.
Jupiter Opposition Natal Saturn

With Transiting Jupiter in opposition to Natal Saturn, there is a strong push and pull situation taking hold in our lives.  The houses where Natal Saturn and Transiting Jupiter are each residing will be the areas of life affected by this opposition.

Jupiter may call for change in situations that are in place and perhaps these conditions have been in place for some time, and although you may know that a change is required, you may resist making the adjustments that you need to make.  Others may be involved, as mentioned, and they might be pushing you one way or the other.  You may feel that you are fighting their suggestions or their outright influence on what is happening.

Wherever Saturn is found in your Natal chart, it will be an area of concern, although much will depend on how it is aspected by other planets in the birth chart.  If, for example, Saturn is well aspected let’s say, by Uranus, Mars and Jupiter in the Natal chart, then the situation may not be as difficult.  However, if for example, Saturn is challenged by Pluto, Mars and Uranus, this suggests a much more difficult situation where there may be hard struggles, arguments, abrupt ending of conditions and delayed actions.

In many cases, Jupiter knows what is best, but Saturn resists, creates roadblocks and suggests that even if a change is a requirement, then it will take a lot of work to make this change, and you may worry that things will not work out the way you want.  This is all because of Saturn’s energy.

With Jupiter opposition natal Saturn, move slowly and listen to other people’s advice especially those that you consider reliable and have your best interests at heart. With caution and an open mind, move ahead using a conscientious approach.

Saturn, by definition, often speaks of challenging conditions, tasks at hand, lessons to learn, discipline, creating organization and building a strong foundation.

As Saturn transits through the houses, especially when it connects with the planets or the cusp of each house, it is often felt as an integrating energy that asks us to pay attention and often requires additional work.  Saturn’s influence is not something that should be ignored and is felt especially when it conjuncts a planet or angle in our birth chart.

Saturn, at its most powerful, often interacts when it is 2° past being direct because of its delayed effects.  However, you will likely feel Saturn’s approach long before it reaches this critical degree of influence.  Therefore, we can prepare for its influence, but it is highly suggested that you not anticipate its action as negativity can result.

Saturn is the teacher of the Zodiac, and this is what it will do.  Its action sparks our attention and when transiting Saturn is in square to itself in the birth chart (which is what we are focused on in this article) our attentiveness will be enhanced.

Saturn asks us to work hard towards our objectives and not to miss any steps along the way.  It will teach us patience and diligence. If we do the work that is required, its energies can help build solid foundations that stand the test of time.  The structures that can be built can withstand almost any interaction because they are built from structure and lessons that are likely difficult and do not need repeating.

Much will depend on the houses involved in the equation.  The house where Saturn transits often produce tension or lessons and the house where Saturn natally resides helps in assisting with the dilemma.  Squares indicate struggle, but the difficulty is irritating enough that it forces us into action to formulate a plan to alleviate the irritation. Natal Saturn and its natal positioning in the birth chart will provide you with more information and information on potential difficulty or greater ease for transition due to its aspects.

When Saturn in transit forms a square with natal Saturn, it initiates a significant phase of teaching and learning. While Saturn symbolizes hardship, it also fosters resilience & inner strength. Individuals may not realize the depths of their fortitude until Saturn compels them to face such lessons. Indeed, Saturn is the ultimate teacher.
Saturn Square Natal Saturn

When transiting Saturn squares natal Saturn, there will be a teaching/learning phase.  You will work your way through what Saturn’s energies are pushing at you and become more equipped to handle situations in the future.  Difficulties are represented by Saturn, but Saturn also builds resilience and integrates strength.  Many may not even realize they have this strength until Saturn forces the lesson on them.  Saturn truly is the teacher.

Part II

As mentioned on Monday, May 12, 2025, this is an astrology article which speaks of the outer planetary movement taking place now and in the near future.

As mentioned yesterday, Pluto has already made this change moving from Capricorn into Aquarius and in the next coming months Neptune will move from Pisces into Aries, Uranus will move from Taurus into Gemini and Saturn will move from Pisces to Aries.  Jupiter will also move from Gemini into Cancer while the inner planets (Mercury, Venus and Mars) continue in their movement from sign to sign on a much more rapid pace.

During this time frame (which is over a period of about one year), Pluto will be in Sextile to Neptune, and Saturn and Trine to Uranus.

Neptune will Conjunct Saturn, and Trine Uranus, and Saturn will also Sextile Pluto.

These are all favorable aspects coming into play and this should indicate a time when the world goes through some transformational energies which hopefully will be widely accepted, and change will begin to unfold in a positive manner.

We focused on Pluto and Neptune in yesterday and today we continue with Uranus and Saturn.

The outer planets indicating a big change on the horizon are Pluto, Uranus, Neptune and Saturn. Utilize the energies and be open to the possibilities. Do what you can in your own little corner of the world as what unfolds may be quite pleasant and beneficial.
Outer Planets Are Indicating Big Change

With Uranus moving into Gemini, which is a much more comfortable placement for Uranus being invigorating and pushes for the seeking of enlightenment. As a result of this transition into Gemini a door will be opening for us.  Clearer understanding is likely, as well as an awareness beyond what would be sought when Uranus was in Taurus.  Uranus ruled by Aquarius brings forth awakening energies which will push those in tune with their higher self and inner self. This should stimulate many others to awaken to the possibility of a newfound freedom that works equally for each and every one of us.

Saturn moving from Pisces to Aries will have similar effects of Neptune moving through Pisces. Neptune and Saturn will also connect by aspect and join forces beginning in May, 2025.  This should bring to the forefront proof, beyond reasonable doubt, that the mystical side of life is alive and well. There will, however, be a real push to make things practical and more credible perhaps embracing the understanding that there is much more to our existence than the everyday life of work, sleep and eat.

Hopefully these energies, working together in harmony, bring forth what is needed during these turbulent times. We likely will be able to begin focusing our helping mankind reach its potential as well as to clear up the unrest that our planet is currently experiencing.

Our combined expectations, our preconceived notion of what is possible, our belief structures and focuses and our efforts together create our reality.

The outer planets indicating a big change on the horizon are Pluto, Uranus, Neptune and Saturn. Utilize the energies and be open to the possibilities. Do what you can in your own little corner of the world as what unfolds may be quite pleasant and beneficial.
