2024 Sun in Virgo

Much of what we are writing about will depend on which degree the Sun in Virgo is in the birth chart and which houses are involved.  It is important to have a look at the potential provided in the natal chart to understand the outcome of the transits that we will speak about. 

Transiting Neptune and transiting Saturn are both in Pisces which makes them in opposition to those with their Virgo Sun within the same degrees currently occupied by these two powerful outer planets. 

Oppositions are considered challenging and often involve other people.  In many cases, our plans are disrupted because of these individuals, and we must find a way to deal with or get past their influence.  In most cases when other people are making suggestions, we should listen to their advice. In some cases, their advice will be very helpful and in other cases, they may cause a hinderance.  We must learn to work with both depending on what is being proposed.

Neptune in the case of oppositions to the Sun (currently in August, 2024 Neptune is at 29° Pisces) suggests that you may not be able to see things clearly or do not have a clear understanding of what is taking place.  There may be some vagueness to your goals and aspirations because people seem to be feeding you wrong information or information that does not jive with your plans.  Depending on how long this has been in play in your chart and the houses involved, this may have been going on for a long time or you may have felt it coming for some time now. 

Saturn on the other hand (Saturn is currently at 17° Pisces and in retrograde) will be in its retrograde cycle until mid-November, 2024. Saturn works more favorably when in retrograde than when it is direct.  There will still be delays and some obstacles in the way at this time but with hard work and a well-organized effort, you can accomplish much during this phase.  Your superiors may be of assistance, but things may not move ahead as quickly as you might wish they would.  Things seem to move too slowly but there likely is a logical reason for this if you were to take a closer look. 

Your objectives, and on a more personal level, your inner self is going through a time when things will shift.  It will likely be some time before you get a real feel for which direction life is taking you.  You may be doing some inner reflection and will make significant changes at this time but be patient and listen to advice. When you make up your mind as to which direction to follow, the door will open. You are currently learning about yourself and will make changes as time passes.

The 2024 aspects for Sun in Virgo signify a vagueness with your goals with delays and obstacles all likely coming from others. Be patient. Change is coming, both inward and outward. Happy solar return to our Virgo readers.

WHEN ILLNESS STRIKES

When Illness Strikes

When we become ill, it is important beyond all else to have a positive attitude.  We cannot fight back with a defeatist attitude.  We must keep ourselves focused on healing and believe that it is possible.  Care for the body. The mind too plays a large part in the healing process. 

Of course, there are different degrees of health concerns and there are some which are much more difficult to cure.  Your mind frame, however, plays a significant role in the journey and the outcome of any illness or disease, no matter what the prognoses. 

For those individuals battling the odds, your attitude especially plays a significant role in how everything unfolds.  It can be very easy to get caught up in how defeating a disease can be (and certainly the way you are physically and mentally feeling) and we then lose sight of the real meaning of life. 

For those with minor illnesses, when you finally return to full health, pay heed to how well you now feel in comparison to only days preceding. Recognize what a true blessing being healthy is. 

For those that have conquered a disease like Cancer, it’s a new lease on life. We should listen to the little voice within that challenges us to make changes to our habits (both physically and mentally), the way we live our lives and our belief structures.

In general, those that go through life with very little health concerns should consider themselves lucky as this is not the norm.  Regardless of what you experience in life, life is a blessing. Do not forget how fortunate you are.  Most importantly, recognize that your focus creates especially over time. Focus on how good things are and all the important lessons that we have been taught throughout our life’s experience. 

When illness strikes, stay positive and focus on good health, both physically and mentally. Recognize that your focus creates. Let’s create a positive environment for our healthy selves.

FULL MOON IN AQUARIUS 2024

On Monday, the 19th of August, we will experience a Full Moon in the sign of Aquarius at 27°. This will be precise at 2:25 p.m. EDT. 

A Full Moon occurs when the Sun and the Moon are exactly opposite one another.

This Full Moon in Aquarius 2024, if making contact in your chart, will raise your responsiveness and open doors for you to receive understanding of what is happening in your life.  This information is not something new as it has likely been in your awareness for some time.  You may now receive clarity under this influence as you are receiving information either from within or from outside influences.

The Full Moon’s cycle is active for three days and allows you to delve into how you have been addressing mental activities.  Have you been self-destructive? 

What now needs your attention? 

In many cases, this awareness was first noted when the New Moon was in the same sign of Aquarius some six months ago.  If the Full Moon is influencing your chart, the contact should be within 3° on either side of a planet or angle in your birth chart.  So, for instance, this Full Moon is at 27° Aquarius so either by conjunction (0°), opposition (180°) or square (90°), it needs to be within the 3° range either before the 27 degrees or after.  Trines (120°) and Sextiles (60°) are also activated but their energies are not as noticeable.

The Full Moon is the culmination of what was put in place when the New Moon was in Aquarius some six months ago on February 9, 2024.  The Full Moon in Aquarius may have something to do with fellowship and awareness.  Brotherhood and new beginnings sometimes come to us when they are unexpected, and over time, they change our course.  This is an evolutionary position and often an awakening period.  It could have something to do with future endeavors associated with the house placement of this Full Moon in your chart. 

This can have a profound effect on your emotional and psychological state because often we need to let go of something.  Beware of unexpected, undesirable reactions. These can come at the most unexpected times or in the most unusual ways.  This is not only due to the placement of the Moon in Aquarius but also because this placement is making a Square to Transiting Uranus which currently is at 27° in the sign of Taurus. 

Mercury and the Sun are in opposition to the Moon which makes this a time when others may be making us aware that changes need to take place. Letting go is likely what needs to take place.

There will be a strong need to be able to express yourself in a clear and concise manner.  It will not matter how others feel about your personal expression, although you will have to take some time to reflect before expressing your opinions. 

When you move in the needed direction, you will find it much easier to understand your feelings although Aquarius has never been known for its emotions as it is much more tied to the intellectual mind.

Be ready for change as a result of this Full Moon in Aquarius which is likely linked with fellowship and awareness.  Brotherhood and new beginnings sometimes come to us when they are unexpected, and over time, they may change our course.
