LEO FULL MOON 2026

On February 1, 2026, we will experience a Full Moon in the sign of Leo at 13°. 

With a Full Moon, the Sun and Moon are always in Opposition with one another.  It represents the final stages of the energies that began approximately six months earlier when we experienced the New Moon in the same sign (in this case, the Leo new moon on July 24, 2025).

Again, this Leo Full Moon is the culmination point of our efforts on our goal since the Leo New Moon. If we did not do the required work, which we knew on some level was what was needed over this period, we likely will fall short of this goal. We now reap the rewards of our efforts.

The area of life affected would have been determined by the house positions influenced in your personal chart at the time.  The energies related to the sign (Leo) and aspects at the time will also play an important role in this determination.

If we were to have approached the New Moon sign in Leo by taking control of a situation and doing what we thought was best at the time, we will now reap the rewards of these actions.

An example might be the New Moon being in the first house suggesting that we had to do what was best for us.  This might have had something to do with a close personal relationship.  We might have felt that we needed to move in a direction that, at the time, suited the individual involved. On some level, however, we might have felt responsible for that person (due to the Leo influence). We would also have known that it was important to think of our own needs as well (because of the first house influence which is naturally ruled by Aries in our example).  Other observers may have felt that we were being selfish, but we knew that our needs were to come first and hopefully this is what was acted upon.

When we look at our charts for the Full Moon’s position, it is important to realize that if we do not have planets or angles near its position, we may not be affected too much by its energies. In some cases, when there are no major aspects within a three-degree orb of this placement (13° Leo in this instance), either by Conjunction or Opposition in particular, we will not feel much energy related to this position in our lives.  The other Major aspects (Square, Trine, Sextile) will influence this position if in a close orb, but the influence will not be as powerful as the Conjunction and Opposition. 

The Transits at the time of this Leo Full Moon by aspect and within the three-degree orb will influence this Full Moon and how its energies unfolds (as well as the sign and house position in your chart).  In this case, Venus and Mars, although out of orb, may still have a minor impact on what this Full Moon provides.  Venus’ energies influence love and affection or finances and Mars’ energies influence action and the need to push forward.  If they connect to an angle or other planet in the Natal Chart by aspect, they will influence the energies already in place.

The Leo Full Moon 2026 will provide you with the fruits of your efforts over the past six months.  This harvest is likely involving self expression, creativity and the need to help. Let go of what no longer serves you and celebrate your accomplishments.

SAGITTARIUS FULL MOON 2025

On June 11, 2025 at 3:43 a.m. EDT, we will experience a Full Moon (known as the strawberry full moon) in the sign of Sagittarius at 20°. 

It is important to understand that this Full Moon will have a different effect on everyone, because it will transit in different houses for each of us in our natal charts and there will be different aspects to this placement for each of us.  For this Sagittarius Full Moon at 20° to influence you, it will need to make aspects to planets or angles within your natal chart.  These aspects should be within 3° direct and the most important aspect would be the Conjunction (0°) and then the Opposition (180°).  This is important because if there are no links within the natal chart, this Full Moon energy may pass you by with little to no noticeable influence.

A Full Moon brings a conclusion to whatever we started some 6 months previously under the New Moon of the same sign (in this case Sagittarius).  In many cases, because of Jupiter’s influence (ruling planet of Sagittarius) in this case, there is potential leading to personal growth and expansion.  Jupiter brings forth opportunities often through personal experiences. 

Sagittarius Full Moon 2025

Sagittarius is adventurous, and often indicates growth and personal gain because of the desire to be adventurous, and the need for new teachings stemming from whatever you have been engaged in.  This is not only a culmination point but also a time of letting go especially of anything that now no longer serves a viable purpose.  Anything that you might have outgrown is subject to change or release. 

Because of the Moon’s influence, emotions will be part of the process.  There may be periods of unrest because you know what you should be doing, but there is a sense of optimism and a general feeling that things will work out fine as you move forward.  Sagittarius is an adventurous spirit as mentioned and hates standing still and going nowhere.

Perhaps you decided to travel to faraway places and now you are to return.  You have likely been taught a lot about yourself and now you return to find that things have changed since you left. It will become apparent that it was you that changed and not so much the circumstances you are returning to.  It might be time to adapt or start again. Let go of what used to be and understand that things had to change as what was in place could not continue on the path it was on.  

Under this influence, life opened your eyes in a positive way. You may not be able to see the benefit now, but you will eventually.

Old patterns of belief may now be pushed aside for the new and more relatable ideas.  You are ready for this.  Time stands still for no one and there are opportunities for those that wish to explore their own personal potential. 

Others may assist you in your venture, and it might be okay to ask for assistance but make sure those that you seek out are optimistic in their nature. You don’t want to be pulled back or stalled by negative energy. 

Under the influence of the Sagittarius Full Moon 2025 stepping into the new and moving out of complacency might be good advice for those ready and willing to create results.

FULL MOON IN LEO 2025

Full Moon in Leo 2025

On February 12, 2025, we will be experiencing a Full Moon, (which is the culmination point of events started when the Leo New Moon six months ago) in the sign of Leo at 24°.  Because this placement is in the second decant, there will not only be an influence of Leo’s energies but also some influence by Sagittarius’ energies as well.

Full Moons and New Moons have emotional in nature and play with our sensitivities.  They bring things to the surface.  Again, the Full Moon is the harvest time of whatever began during the New Moon stage, so we now reap the rewards of our efforts over the past six months.

Emotions now likely run high, and this will be the time to correlate any unresolved issues and look at what we have done to bring them to the surface and deal with them head on.  Because this Full Moon is in the sign of Leo, matters of the heart will be a part of the energies.  You may now find that awareness comes to the surface, and you feel that you are in the know. As a result, you want to express yourself clearly and concisely.  You are open to dialogue, and everything comes from the heart.  For some, this may be difficult as they normally keep things inside, but now is the time to let them out and be open and honest.

Because of the issues of the heart, and if you happen to be in a relationship, this will be the time to either step things forward or hold back and retreat.  There may be risks in matters related to love and affection, and you may feel that you know best.  Things may not go smoothly, and you can expect the unexpected.  This is largely due to the Square from Uranus. Since during a Full Moon the Sun and Moon are always in opposition to one another, Uranus’ square is also square to both the Sun and Moon creating a T-square.

A T-square suggests things are out of balance, and because Uranus is involved, something new needs to take hold.  A revelation due to Uranus’ energies may come as a complete surprise or somehow be unexpected, but over time, you will begin to realize that the energy in place will push you in the direction that is required.  Uranus says, “wake up, it’s time to take notice and do something about it”.  Uranus is known as the awakener and pushes us out of complacency and asks for change, but if we do not move in that particular direction, Uranus will force us into it.

Something is missing, and once you pay closer attention, you will see whatever is missing is what is creating this imbalance. This is why change is essential.  The actual change does not have to be complete and total, as, sometimes only a minor change of attitude or direction is all that is required. In other cases, however, there is a strong need to move in a different direction. (A complete look at the Astrology chart will explain the extend of the change).  This will likely not be an easy solution, but pay heed, as what needs to change will be changed one way or another, with or without your consent.

Again, much will depend on the overall condition of the birth chart currently, including the aspects from the transiting planets to other planets and important angles during this time frame.

The Full Moon in Leo 2025 will involve issues of the heart. Emotions will run deep and due to Uranus’ influence, there may be a need for change, which can be unexpected. It is time for an awakening.
