SCORPIO FULL MOON 2026

Scorpio Full Moon 2026

On May 1, 2026, we will experience a Full Moon in the sign of Scorpio at 11°. 

Scorpio has to do with intensity and there are no halfway measures when it comes to emotion and sensitivity.  In most cases, with Scorpio, the emotions are kept under wrap, hidden from others.  When the emotions do surface, however, they surface with force. 

To determine if you are affected by this Scorpio Full Moon allow a 3° orb of influence. The Conjunction and Opposition aspects are prime indicators to calculate what is now coming to fruition.  This likely started some six months ago when the New Moon was in the sign of Scorpio. This will involve things that have been buried and left unspoken and now need to surface.

There may be some secrecy involved. The current focus may have been hidden or kept under wraps previously but after some digging, these tend to come to the surface. This needs to come out and be dealt with so that you can move forward.

This may be personal especially if the first house is involved. It likely involves a relationship of significance because we should look at the opposite house as well.

If, for example, the second house is where the placement of the Moon is found now, then there would be circumstances involving financial situations and shared resources.  Much will depend on the other planetary influences in place at this time, especially the outer planets if they are making contact with this position or making important impacts to the natal astrology chart at the same time.

Scorpio is about an honest inner look at what needs to surface. It may be considered somewhat unpleasant or taboo on some level.  If it is personal, have an honest look and see what you can do on a personal level to bring about the dynamic changes needed.  In many cases, because of the ruling planet Pluto, transformations begin after an internal study. Once the internal look has been conducted, a new beginning will begin to unfold.  What no longer serves your evolutionary quest now needs to be released.

The influence you experience will depend on your response to it.  Some individuals look forward to change and evolution, while others may be fixed and do not appreciate change. Some may refuse to acknowledge that change is what is required. 

With the Scorpio Full Moon 2026, the work you put into bringing things to the surface will be reflected by what needs to take hold now. The harder you worked, the greater your rewards, even if you are not sure what comes next.

PLUTO SQUARE NATAL PLUTO

The Transit of Pluto square to its Natal positioning usually occurs around the late 30’s but can extend as far as to the age of 60.  Much will depend on the Natal positioning of Pluto in the birth chart and the placement of Pluto during its transit. 

As a side note, transiting Neptune makes a Square to Natal Neptune into the early 40’s and Transiting Uranus makes an Opposition to its Natal position around the age of 41-43.  Finally, Chiron makes its return to its birth position between the age 49 to 51. With the understanding that all of these placements are extremely significant, no wonder this time in life is referred to as the mid-life crisis.

Transiting Pluto Square Natal Pluto

We have already discussed many of these placements in past articles, so we thought we would focus on the transit of Pluto squaring its Natal position. 

Pluto’s action is usually quite intense, although it can make its way forward in a rather subtle manner in the early stages.  Over time, it certainly makes its presence known.  The energies are often attached to psychological matters and often forces us to look deep within at any of the so-called dark or hidden areas of our nature.  These areas are considered taboo, and we may not want to face them.  However, this is the time when we will confront our so-called demons, better still our inner fears.

This aspect is a time of deep self-analysis and transformation when we re-evaluate things, especially how we feel about our personal power (or lack thereof) and the control we think we have over life or the control that we think we lack in our life.  This is often a time of personal crisis, because we must be honest and face that which we may not want to!  How else will we conquer our fears and eliminate things that no longer serve us? 

We must have a deep, honest, open look at what goes on within before we can make changes to those parts of us we allow to be on automatic pilot.  Letting go is of prime importance, as in many cases holding on is futile particularly to those things that stagnate us. Pluto sometimes demands action from us and if we do not act, it will force action onto us in a more dynamic or drastic manner.

It is easy to get caught up in what is taking hold during this astrological aspect, but these are the times when the valuable lessons are in place, and we can learn a great deal.  We come out stronger, more resilient, advanced in our understanding and ready to challenge life in a much more mature manner.  Do not fear transiting Pluto square natal Pluto.  Learn from this aspect. This too will pass, but you need to do the work.  You will come out on the other side a better version of yourself and be able to guide others through some of life’s more tumultuous times because of your personal experience.

ASPECTS TO SCORPIO NEW MOON 2025

In our articles posted yesterday, November 12, 2025, we discussed the New Moon on November 20, 2025, at 28° in the sign of Scorpio.

Aspects to Scorpio New Moon 2025

Today, we will focus on some of the transiting aspects that will make contact and help paint a part of this overall picture.

There will be a Grand Water Trine forming with the Moon at 28° Scorpio, Jupiter at 1° Cancer and Saturn at 25° Pisces and Neptune at 29° Pisces as well.

Grand Water Trines suggest self-sufficiency leaning in the direction of emotion and sensitivity. The Grand Trine suggests easy flow, opportunities, general good luck and a potential to reach whatever you are setting out to do, especially when emotion and sensitivity is part of the equation.

We also have transiting Mercury Conjunct the position of the New Moon at 29° Scorpio as well as being in Opposition to Transiting Uranus which is at 29° Taurus.

The Moon and Mercury indicate that with the intensity from the Scorpio New Moon, there are conditions that have the likelihood of running deep involving sensitive matters. The mind runs overtime with this influence and wants to get to the bottom of the matter. This does not have to be good or bad but certainly points towards intensity.

The Opposition to Uranus points towards disruption often caused by other individuals. This can be unique in its expression, often unexpected, dynamic and often creates change that can be hard to handle. But after time, however, you will be recognized that this was the correct move after all even though it did not feel that way at that moment. Uranus is the awakener and brings to the surface what is needed. We often get hints along the way however, and if we act as required, the events will be easier to hand. If we just sit back and do nothing, the events might prove to be more disruptive in their influence.

The areas of life will be dictated by the houses where these planets/angles involved are located in the Astrology chart.

Due to the aspects to the Scorpio New Moon 2025, change on some level is almost inevitable. Although dynamic, these energies do not imply a total change but a needed one.

It is important to understand that these energies may not affect you deeply if you do not have Natal positions within orb of the aspects mentioned above. A three-degree orb applying and a two-degree orb in separation will give an indication as to how long these energies might influence you by their connection in your personal natal Astrology Chart.
