TAURUS NEW MOON

On May 7, 2024, we will be experiencing a very favorable New Moon placement especially for those with planets either in conjunction or in opposition to this Taurus placement by no more than 3°.  The energies of a New Moon signal a new beginning where we plant the seeds we want to grow in our garden of life.  It is the beginning of something that you might have been working towards or the start of something brand new.  Either way, it signals something new is ready to take its first steps.

Taurus New Moon

This New Moon is in the sign of Taurus at 28° and will affect those with planets or one of the four angles from 25° of either Taurus or Scorpio to 1° of either Gemini or Sagittarius.  These are the placements of the conjunction and opposition.  Those with the square and sextile along with the trine may also experience a similar influence but likely not as powerful.

This is a time to initiate something that will come to its fruition some six months down the road when we are experiencing the full Moon in Taurus (November 15, 2024).  The Full Moon in Taurus will be the harvest of what has taken hold now and what you do during the next six months will tell the story of how things look at that time. We must nurture seeds to bring them to fruition.

In Taurus, the new moon speaks about creating something that stands the test of time, something that will build and grow and offer security on some level.  This has something to do with reliability and a steadfast approach. It is understood that it will take time to bring these energies into fruition and at the same time, understood that it will take hard work and a disciplined effort too.  You cannot become complacent and the effort you put forward is a direct indicator of the results you will experience.  If you don’t work hard towards an end result, you will likely need to either reevaluate or let go come the Taurus Full Moon.

The reason behind this push for hard work is that these energies have potential and are likely favorable. This is indicated by the placement of the New Moon which is sextile to Mars and Neptune. Mars is in the early stages of Aries and Neptune the late stages of Pisces.  Mars has to do with drive and ambition and is highly suggestive of the ability to really push forward with your objectives.  It is like a relentless force pushing you towards your goals and opportunities that are in front of you.  Neptune has to do with psychic perception and the potential of dreams becoming reality.  This is a gentle force where love and affection can be part of the picture, but insight is strong and a willingness to serve a higher purpose is part of the picture.  Together these indicators can assist in moving ahead, and because of the sextile, there is a suggestion of opportunities that are waiting but must be pursued if your wish is to make things happen.

There is also a trine from Transiting Pluto which is at the early degrees of Aquarius. Pluto is all about transformations and an indication that something is ending and that something new is on the horizon.  Pluto often suggests that there may have been power struggles and challenging situations along the way, but the trine suggests that the energies associated with this powerful force for change is in place and that it will take some time for you to completely see where this energy takes you. 

Know that something must be left behind for something new to begin and there are no halfway measures about what lies ahead.  The trine suggests easy flow and good fortune as well as opportunities at hand but expect some difficulties along the way especially if you are unwilling to let go of what has been in place previously.

Take advantage of the energies at hand with this Taurus New Moon.  Plant some seeds and nurture them.

SOLAR ECLIPSE ARIES NEW MOON

Aries Solar Eclipse

Today, April 8, 2024, we will experience a Solar Eclipse at 3:19 p.m. EDT which will be in sign of Aries at 19°. 

Those with their luminaries (the Sun and Moon) either in Conjunction or in Opposition to this placement will be highly influenced by this alignment.  Those with other plants as well as angles influenced by this placement will also be affected.  The Conjunction and Opposition are the most powerful of aspects although the Square, Trine and Sextile will also have an influence with this Solar Eclipse.  Use no more than a 3° orb of influence when determining how this Eclipse will affect your chart.

A Solar Eclipse in Aries is all about the energies of Aries.  There will be an outpouring of energy and a need for action connected to your personal needs.  The drive will be to achieve, and you will need to move forward with confidence as this is a significant time for those being affected. 

It is a time of endings and new beginnings and if you move too quickly without due diligence, which can often be the case with an Aries influence, then you can expect to learn lessons from this but should be able to pick up the pieces if necessary and begin again if you fail with your efforts.  Do not fear failure, but make sure you make attempts to secure what is needed to meet your goals. You are being taught to overcome any fear that stands in the way.

There is the potential to generate a balance between what others may wish for and what is important to you. This is often a significant time in the lives of those who are being affected and it will be important to also look at the Natal Chart to see what else lines up at this timing.  Sometimes what has been in place, especially with the outer planets, now will manifest on some level. You have the chance to begin anew and at the same time learn valuable lessons from the steps you have already taken.

This is an important time in the lives of those that are affected by this Eclipse, and it has been said that some of the leaders that have this placement in their Natal Charts (or using mundane Astrology the alignment with the country and its leaders) will be scrutinized and dissected because of their actions. This is a testing time on a personal basis and a time of reconciliation because of actions previously taken.

For those under this influence, the Solar Eclipse Aries New Moon is the time to act and to pursue your visions with great vigor and make things happen.  Now is the time to generate what has been in place at least from a mental perspective and move forward with your objectives.  Do not jump but be certain to take action.

SPRING

Tonight, March 19, 2024, at 11:06 P.M. EDT, we will experience the Spring vernal equinox (Ostara). The Spring equinox is the balance of light and dark.

Spring

There is a promise of a new start, rebirth, renewal. Our world and our lives shed their heavy wintery blanket and light shines forth (even if there is fresh snow on the ground today). There is a promise of longer, brighter, warmer days.

Eventually, sprouts will begin to push their way through the soil, trees will bud, the grass will green, and snowflakes transform to raindrops.  There is so much wonderful promise.

Even without the telltale signs of nature, we know in our heart renewal is coming. Beyond the feeling in our hearts, in a more intangible way, we see the changes in the shadows, we feel it in the air, we hear it from nature and smell it in the wind, if we take the time to place our focus on these things.

Along with this new life springing forth in nature, we experience the ability to have fresh starts in our own lives. This is a time of renewed vigor, an awakening so to speak. This can draw us nearer to the promise of warmth and sunshine in our hearts and souls, not just in the world around us. We can mirror and utilize the energy brought on through the change of the seasons to stimulate and push us in our pursuits, new or old.

A new beginning is at hand with the promise of personal growth depending on the seeds we are now planting.

This is the time to renew our motivation, to push ahead and find outlets that can help us renew our commitment to ourselves for further growth, expansion, and evolution.

Spring seems to afford us the energy to move ahead more willingly in our endeavours, particularly those that we had allowed to go dormant during the winter.

This renewed vigor can propel us into new-found areas that may not have been available throughout the dark winter. It is truly up to us what we plan to do with this energy and whether we utilize it or whether we waste it.

Mirror the seasons. Take advantage of the energies at hand. Move ahead into the new. Reach beyond any limits. The only thing that is holding us back is us. We are our own motivation or our own stagnation. Growth and advancement are at hand.

Nature is offering you something fresh and new to focus on. Nature has provided us with hope and renewal. Nurture your seeds and see what they will bring forth in the future!
