Jupiter will be moving through one whole Astrological sign during 2017. It moves through Libra completely from 13 degree and onward and then moves into the sign of Scorpio later in the year. If you have your Sun in Pisces from and within orb of Jupiter in the sign of Libra (7 to 29 degrees) you will be experiencing the quincunx aspect from February to October 2017. Quincunx or inconjuncts are known to produce some stress in life although with the planet Jupiter as part of this aspect, the stress will not be overly profound. It is more about expansion through spirituality or religious inclinations or teachings. The quincunx speaks in terms of stress because of the need for adjustment and can make things uncomfortable if you decide to become immovable or are unwilling to make the adjustments required. Go with the flow. Jupiter in the sign of Libra speaks in terms of balancing life. This could include your relationships, especially your significant other. It can also be in more personal areas of life. There is a need for harmony and at the same time, justice for any wrong doings in the past and/or in current situations. There could be marriage problems that now need to be faced and acknowledged and then dealt with. Sun in Pisces people (and this is in general terms, the whole chart will have to be examined to find other mitigating factors), is a sign that often has problems when dealing with hard-core facts, especially when they become emotional or hard to face. If transiting Neptune is in opposition (180 degrees) to your Venus, your natal Venus will be In Virgo around the time of sharing this post. Venus in Virgo can be overly analytical and potentially critical when it comes to love and affection. Rather than spending time recognizing the positive qualities linked to their lover, they may spend too much time thinking about what is missing or what is wrong with the relationship. What is our energy field? Does it range in frequency? What can we do to enhance its strength? Our energy field is our life’s force. It is the energy that surrounds and permeates through our bodies. It has been called our aura which can be seen by certain individuals as varying colours. Our energy field can also be a reflection of what we expend outward during our daily life. Transiting Neptune is currently in Pisces, therefore, if it is trine Mercury in your chart, Mercury would have to be in a water element. When allowing a seven to ten degree aspect ratio, your Mercury (if trine Neptune) is anywhere from 1 to 2 degrees to 18-21 degrees in either Cancer or Scorpio. Those that are really sensitive to the influence of Neptune may even feel this energy beyond these specific degrees. We are having a solar eclipse today, February 26, 2017. The eclipse occurs at 8 degrees of Pisces. Those who have the Sun or Moon or any other planets or angles within 3 degrees of this degree will be strongly affected by this eclipse. If your natal Moon is in either Gemini or Sagittarius transiting Neptune will be squaring this lunar position between 4 and 18 degrees. Squares usually signify challenging conditions and when it touches the Moon, these challenges will be emotional in nature. The Moon can also speak in terms of family and the home environment. Take a look to see what stage you currently are experiencing in life. Do not judge. Just note the facts. What have you learned over the past year and how has it affected you? Do you feel stronger? Before we go into the definition of this aspect, it is important that you review the placement of Transiting Uranus as well as where the Moon is placed in your own personal natal chart. These will be the areas of life that are affected by this transit. The conjunction does not have to have negative effects if there is positive aspects between these two bodies in the natal chart, or if the Moon is very well aspected in the birth chart. The transit between the Moon and Uranus does suggest some change on an emotional level that can be quite disruptive, particularly if you have been following a ridged emotional pattern where you have not allowed your emotions to be released or expressed. Any restrictive behaviour in terms of how you have been handling life from an emotional perspective is now subject to reckless and possible impulsive behaviour. Have you every purposely taken a close look at all that surrounds you? Are there trees and gardens? Are there nature trails nearby that you have taken advantage of? Is there a body of water close by? Are there farmers’ fields? What types of shops and buildings are in your area? Have you looked around your home and actually been thankful for all that is available to you? There is so much beauty that surrounds us yet so many of us spend our days busy listening to the babbling voice in our mind. We miss the enjoyment of the moment and see very little of what is next to us. Have a look around you right now as you are reading this post. I mean a really good look. Don’t just scan your surroundings. Focus to see all the little details in your surroundings. Take them in and feel their presence. Let them make an imprint. Why ignore what is right in front of you? Now go a step further. Review your life itself, your children, your other half, your pets, your parents and brothers and sisters, all of your family whether blood or chosen, those whom you work with or see regularly at work. Now go even deeper and pay attention to those that you pass on the road, in the store, on your walk or in the movie theater. Take it all in during the moment and let this “seeing” spill into your day. Pay attention to it all. Experience breathing in the air...actually feel the warmth of the air or the coldness of the air. Experience how it feels on your skin. Feel the warmth of the Sun. Experience the stars. Feel the energy of the Moon within you. Take in the fragrances of all that surrounds you. When people are on holidays, they take in much of their surroundings and experience life much more than when we are living our day to day life. Why don’t we focus on everyday life just as we do while we are on holidays? Each moment is special and holds its own magic. We CAN open our eyes to that which we normally take for granted and feel life’s experience. We can even feel life’s vibrations and our interaction with what is taking place in our lives if we place our focus there. We can also experience intuition and a connection to all living things if we choose to pay attention to these energies. This and so much more surrounds us each and every moment. What are we missing? The next time we feel life is offering us nothing, we should have a little peak at what is right in front of us. If life feels difficult it is not because of the events that are taking place, it is due to our attitude of what is taking place. All this that we fight will eventually pass but these events would be much easier to experience if we just accepted. We are not suggesting that we allow ourselves to be a victim. Quite to the contrary; we cannot allow ourselves to be victims. We can take control of our reaction to life and insist that it will benefit us, not knock us down. When life is what we term as good, we can hold this energy in our hearts and be thankful. Our hard times offer growth and our wonder moments provide us with happiness and peace. Experience it all. Time waits for no one. We are only here for a short time in the grand scheme of things, but in the moment, we have eternity. Gratitude and happiness are within our grasps always.
