SUN IN SCORPIO 2025

The Sun moves from the Cardinal, Air sign of Libra into the Fixed, Water sign of Scorpio on September 22, 2025. 

The Sun has a 16° orb of influence; therefore, those born on the cusp of Scorpio will also have some Libra or Sagittarius characteristics depending on which cusp is influenced.

As far as decants are concerned, those born in the first 9° 59’ of Scorpio have a double Scorpio personality, those born between 10° to 19° 59’ have Scorpio with some Pisces tendencies, and those born between 20° and 29° 59’ of Scorpio will also have Cancer tendencies but for all of these decants, the Scorpio traits are always the strongest.

Sun in Scorpio 2025

Scorpio individuals are strong-minded and are hard to sway once their mind is made up.  They are intense, deep and emotional although their emotions are usually buried deep within.  They do not like to reveal their sensitive nature, and most Scorpio have parts of themselves that they like to keep private. 

Under most conditions, a typical Sun in Scorpio is reserved, somewhat quiet in nature but when they speak, others listen.  They are ruled by the planet Pluto, co-ruled by Mars, and this is primarily what makes them so intense and deep.  Because of Pluto’s influence, they are subject to overall change taking hold at some point in their lives, going through deep examination within and making decisions based on what comes to the surface.  They can review the darker sides of themselves with great clarity and make changes because of these revelations.

Many Scorpio are interested in the deeper realms of life, which were once considered taboo.  The occult and hidden matters hold great importance to the typical Scorpio, and they will often venture into these realms with extreme interest.  They are fond of analyzing and will bring hidden matters to the surface and face them head on.

Scorpio has been known to be quite sensitive and sensual in nature. The undeveloped Scorpio type, however, seeks out sexual encounters simply for their own pleasure and without emotional attachment.  They can have several partners at the same time, but under most conditions once they decide on permanency with one individual, they can be faithful and sincere.  It is important for our Scorpio readers to watch that they are not swept away simply by desire. 

Scorpio individuals make great investigators, and can be in undercover work, digging deep for answers.  They love to solve crimes or to search for the truth. These individuals can be counted on to keep a secret when required.  Surgeons, dentists, and vocations involving dying or death interests them.  Life and death matters intrigue many born under this Sun Sign.

Most Scorpio’s are highly driven, motivated to seek out matters that most would not have the patience to carry out.  This is not to say that they are the patient type, but they will persevere when necessary and make moves once they know the information they hold is accurate and they are ready. 

Emotions run deep for Scorpio, but you will not see this in them. They will not forget if slighted, particularly the unevolved Scorpion type Scorpio. The Eagle Scorpio rises from adversity and navigates life through intuition and insight.

SUN IN AQUARIUS

The Sun will enter the sign of Aquarius on January 19, 2025. When the Sun moves from the Cardinal, Earth sign of Capricorn into the Fixed, Air sign of Aquarius the energies should help us all to be open to the new.  Yes, it’s a New Year and some of us are ready for change. Sun in Aquarius Sun look for adventure through change. 

Aquarius the Water Bearer

Aquarians are unique with their self-expression and understand this as being part of who they are.  Some are considered eccentric in their behavior and stand out because of this.  Their appearance, on some level, will be different from most; perhaps it’s their style of clothing, their hair style, the way they speak, or it could be that intensive look about them. Aquarians are different, and they are quite aware of this, and it does not dissuade them from being themselves.

Some find Aquarius individuals “out there”, while others find them quite fascinating.

Many Aquarians are considered ahead of their time, and this might be why they are unique in their expression.  Aquarius individuals are fixed in their opinions, although quite open to conversation and will listen to what other people’s beliefs may be.  They can fit into most groups although they enjoy conversation that runs deep.  Aquarians push for reflections and encourage questioning.

Aquarians are ruled by the planet Uranus, and because of this, they like to stir action, create change, awaken others to different possibilities and in general create awareness.  Uranus’ energies are impulsive, abrupt and unconventional as are most typical Aquarius individuals. You can expect the unexpected from Uranus and this holds true to the typical Aquarian unless there are strong factors within the Astrological birth chart that suggest otherwise.

The eleventh house is naturally ruled by Aquarius and those with their Sun or other important placements in this house may have Aquarius tendencies.  The eleventh house governs group interaction, and the typical Aquarius works well within groups, but these groups members must have similar interests.  Often an Aquarian’s interests involve humanity and the concerns of the world at large.  Aquarius wants to help and have an altruistic approach for those willing to listen to their advice. 

Friendship is also ruled by the eleventh house and friendship is important but, in many cases, the average Aquarian is friends to many. Some Aquarians have a hard time carrying on what they consider a frivolous conversation.  They seek deep connections and lasting friendships but are willing to walk away when they deem it necessary.  Aquarius individuals are much more concerned with the thinking process than emotional interaction, and although emotion may not be a strong point for them, they do care about others but may not show it in traditional ways.

Humanity and their plight are high on the mind of an Aquarian.  They want to help awaken those still asleep and genuinely wish the best for everyone.  These individuals can also seem quite aloof or unresponsive as they are not concerned with which road others take. Even though they care deeply, they understand that everyone must walk their own road. Aquarian truly believe that they personally are on the road that leads to deeper understanding, and they know that a shift resulting from one individual can have a profound impact on the world’s direction.  Any wave of influence can be far reaching as the ripple effect can continue its course through adversity as well as easy unrestrained engagement.

BE OPEN IN LIFE

Are you unwilling to bend or open to suggestion? 

Be Open in Life

There is nothing wrong with having an opinion and believing in yourself. In fact, it is highly beneficial to move forward in life with confidence.

It is just as important, however, to be open to growth and learning more. Do not be so confident and sure that you close yourself off from further growth and understanding. If everyone else is wrong and you are always right, there may be some ego interference.

Being wrong and learning more is not a sign of weakness. Admitting that you were wrong should not make you feel less in any way. It is a sign of maturity and strength.

Being fixed in your opinions is fine but have respect for others’ opinions as well.  No one needs to prove their intelligence, strength, importance, etc. to anyone else.  You don’t have to prove anything to anyone, and your beliefs are your own.  

Be open in life. That is the only way we can grow. Being right or wrong does not diminish or increase who you are. You don’t have to prove yourself to others.  Let go of ego interference and know that you are not your thoughts, you are the one listening and because of this you have choices.
