Holm Astrology has been creating "Astrology" and "Food For Thought" posts for over 10 years.  Wix has taken over the Vista Print websites and as a result of the migration of our information, a large portion of our blog posts are currently lost.

We realize our Astrology posts are vital to our students.

We apologize for the inconvenience but it is worth the jump over to our blogspot.

As promised in our Aries Full Moon article on October 6, (https://www.holmastrology.com/post/full-moon-in-aries-5), we would like to touch on a few very significant transits that will affect us all moving into 2026 and carrying forward for some time after that.

These noteworthy transits in 2026 through to 2028 will affect each of us at one point or another. Uranus, Pluto, Neptune and Saturn will bring sudden change, transformation, push/pull, illusion, restrictions but if you do what is necessary you will reap the rewards.
Noteworthy transits in 2026

The transits include Pluto and Uranus as well as Neptune and Saturn.

Transiting Uranus and Pluto will be making a Trine well into 2028.  Neptune and Saturn form Sextiles to these transiting planets. Saturn will move out of orb in the spring of 2026, while Neptune continues its Sextile influence with both Uranus and Pluto well into 2028. The sextile to Pluto will remain in place for many years.

Uranus stays in Gemini and Pluto stays in Aquarius while Neptune will remain in Aries over the period defined above.  Saturn is also in the sign of Aries but as mentioned moves out of orb in 2026.

These transits will affect many individuals during this time frame especially those with planets or points in the early degrees.  Any planet or angle close to these degrees by Conjunction, Opposition and Square will have a noticeable effect while those with planets or angles in Trine or Sextile will also feel the effects and under most conditions in a positive manner.

Both challenging and helpful aspects, if viewed from the right perspective, are influential and over time will be realized as positive in some manner. The more challenging aspects, however, will likely have a intense effect, at least during their intense periods when they are close to being direct.

Pluto and Uranus together forming Trines with one another in general indicate easy flow, opportunities and favorable conditions especially related to change, new beginnings and in many cases getting rid of things that no longer suit our evolutionary path as we move forward on our journey of life.

Uranus often speaks of upheaval and unexpected changes in sudden and unusual ways.

Pluto speaks of a turning point when issues are confronted and changes take hold which open the door for a new beginning. To begin anew, an ending of some sort must take place. This allows what needs to surface to have a chance to do so.  Both Uranus and Pluto are considered to be agents of enormous change, and we can expect some power struggles during the transition. In some cases, there will be resistance to change as Saturn and Neptune begin influencing as well.

All of these planets are in force at different periods strengthening in energy here and there.  Saturn resists change while Neptune often makes things uncertain.  However, both planets are in sextile to Pluto and Uranus suggesting that an opportunity is at hand.  Sextiles imply opportunities but also require us to make things happen.  Things may move along quite nicely for those with positive aspects in the natal chart applying these positions, but it is suggested that you do the work that is necessary to reap the rewards available at this time.

There may be a part of you that is uncertain about the path ahead under these influence, and you may worry about making mistakes, but as time unravels, you will note that this is exactly what was needed.

The natal chart must be comprehensively studied to get a clear overall picture of how these important transits will affect your life personally.  Remember although these outer planets often suggest that matters are predestined, it is always up to us how we want to deal with things which is absolute with our attitude.

Uranus and Pluto are both in Air signs suggesting that the mind can operate well under these conditions, and you can figure things out.  Neptune and Saturn are in fire signs and will help push you forward as they are action oriented. These latter two are also very personal in nature because they are in the sign of Aries.

These noteworthy transits in 2026 through to 2028 will affect each of us at one point or another. Uranus, Pluto, Neptune and Saturn will bring sudden change, transformation, push/pull, illusion, restrictions but if you do what is necessary you will reap the rewards.

When exploring the transits of Saturn, allow a 5° orb applying and a 4° separating. Saturn’s energies would influence us for approximately 5 months depending on whether it goes into retrograde motion.  If it goes retrograde, its energies will last longer.  This Astrologer prefers to use a tighter degree of orb than some Astrologers as we generally do not feel the intensity of an aspect before these closer degrees I have set out.

After years of study, it is apparent that the most intense period is when an aspect is direct, although with Saturn, and its delaying influence, it is most powerful between 1° and 2° after it is direct.

Saturn’s influence, as with any aspect, is temporary although during its connection, it most certainly can be impactful in our lives.

What can we learn from Saturn while it is having an impact on our lives?

Remember Saturn is the teacher!

Saturn opposition natal Uranus is certainly a push and pull energy where change will happen unexpectedly but necessary and likely affects others but Saturn is resistant as it wants security and stability.
Saturn Opposition Natal Uranus

With Saturn Opposition natal Uranus, we can always expect the unexpected.  Uranus acts on impulse and Saturn delays, restricts and creates hurdles that hold us back from moving in the directions that Uranus wants us to move towards.  Since Oppositions often involve other people, these particular individuals involved may play a big role in what this aspect produces.

Uranus wants to let go of anything that holds back our evolution.  It is the harbinger of awakening and does not like to be stifled.  It moves us to where we need to go and, in most cases, suddenly and unexpectedly.

Saturn on the other hand seeks security and stability and resists change. You can well imagine how these two planetary energies might battle with one another.  They are opposing forces, one resisting what needs to take hold as it wants to maintain a secure foundation and the other is frustrated because it is being held back from moving in a direction that just might free you from the old, outdated practices.

The houses involved will be of extreme significance as they represent the areas of life being influenced by this transit.  If, for example, Saturn while in transit is in the first house and Natal Uranus is in the seventh house, learning what is important for you on a personal level is being impacted by the needs being met concerning your spouse or business partner.  You may ask, what you can do for yourself while influencing your relationship so that things are not disheveled or what does your partner need from you that you are unwilling to change or what do you need from your partner that they are unwilling to change (but this latter scenario is less likely but could be part of the process).

Uranus in the seventh (as in our example) natally suggests that the partnership is unpredictable and subject to change and evolution.  This information is not detailed because the whole chart needs to be examined to form a full picture.

Saturn opposition natal Uranus is certainly a push and pull energy where change will happen unexpectedly but necessary and likely affects others but Saturn is resistant as it wants security and stability.

With the Taurus New Moon, 2025, seek out whatever brings structure and stability for you in life.
Taurus New Moon 2025

On Sunday, April 27, 2025 @ 3:31 p.m. we will experience a New Moon in the sign of Taurus at 7°.

This New Moon will affect those with any planet or angle within a 3° orb of this placement by Major aspects only.  The strongest of these aspects, in order of significance, would be the Conjunction, Opposition, Square, Trine and Sextile.  Just so this is clear, we will use the Conjunction and Opposition for example without any reference to the planet or angle involved in this article.  So, a planet or angle from 4-10° either by Conjunction (in Taurus) or Opposition (in Scorpio).

A New Moon by definition is when the Sun and Moon form an exact conjunction with each other.  This signifies the beginning of something new in life.  In approximately six months when the Full Moon is in the same sign (Taurus in this case), we reach a culmination point of whatever energy and direction we put into our goals.

With a New Moon in the sign of Taurus and depending on the house where it is located in your astrology chart, this will be the starting point to implement more structure into your life.  This in turn creates more stability and something that can be reliable over time.  Taurus works slowly but meticulously and without restraint. Taurus will pursue whatever it intends to put in place with much vigor and enthusiasm although sometimes it is kept under wraps and goes without notice by others.

This focus with a Taurus influence may have something to do with finances and security as a whole and may be viewed as material based especially if the second, sixth and tenth houses are involved in the equation.  The second house deals with financial security and security within, the sixth house may have something to do with those you work with and the working environment and sometimes health-related matters, while the tenth house may have something to do with the career specifically, with your goals and aspirations and tied to your life’s status.

If the first house is involved, then this will be very personal in nature although others will likely be aware of what is unfolding.  If the seventh house is involved it will likely have something to do with marriage partnership or business associations.  If the third house is enhanced communication and speaking your mind or holding back may be part of the process, and if the ninth house is involved it may have something to do with litigation, travel, your life’s philosophy and religious inclination or spirituality.

Of course, the whole chart needs to be analyzed for other significators within your chart during the time indicated.  Other transits will play an important role in the overall picture of what is happening personally for you during this time frame as well.

With the Taurus New Moon 2025, seeking out whatever brings structure and stability for you in life.

Again, this New Moon will be very relevant to those with important connections to its placement.  Does it affect your chart?
