WHEN TO BE PASSIVE AND WHEN TO BE AGGRESSIVE

There is a time and place for both responses.  Sometimes we need to take a stand and be more aggressive about what we do or believe in. Other times, it is more responsible to ignore or be passive about a situation. 

Many say that being passive and not causing any waves is the best way to live; however, although in some cases that is appropriate, there are also times when we need to step up and do what needs to be done, even if it is uncomfortable.

Sometimes people get hurt because of what we might say. Remember there are always two ways of saying anything. An unfiltered approach likely will be challenged. A calmer, more gentle approach usually gets the message across without push back.

It is never appropriate to challenge someone physically, but it is appropriate under the right circumstances to speak your mind and say what needs to be said but again in an appropriate manner. 

Some people take advantage of the those they think are meek and mild. Passive should never be mistaken for lack of caring.  Respect is essential.  Even the most meek individuals have their limits.

If you feel you are being taken advantage of perhaps it’s time to step up and in your own way stand up for yourself.

If you are the more aggressive type and are accustomed to saying it like it is, remember others have feelings and filters are essential to maintain healthy relationships.

Know when to be passive and when to be aggressive. Strength comes in many different forms.

TWISTS AND TURNS

The road of life is seldom straightforward.  We twist and turn, feelings as though we waver from time to time. The path in life is always in front of us and though we may feel as though we have gotten off track, the lessons we are learning are essential for our journey forward.

Some of us may know where we hope to go and others just follow the route.  Some days, the path is straightforward, other days are filled with potholes and some days it feels like the path has disappeared into the underbrush. Push forward anyway!

Set goals but be flexible. Sometimes we walk the direct route there and other times, we have much to learn before we get to our check point.

It is important to keep our options open. We may have a goal in mind for this moment, but the moment is forever changing. We may think we need that straight even road, but the road we are offered will have opportunities that may open doors we never thought possible.

You are on the right path. Stay open to what is offered as it is what you need. It may feel like twists and turns but if you watch closely, you will realize you are dancing your way forward.

Much will depend on the house Saturn is transiting through.  Is it in the second house, dealing with finances and security, or the third house speaking directly about the way we communicate? 

Is it the tenth house which has to do with our life’s status, our career, and our goals in life, or the eleventh house which has to do with our friends, our dreams and aspirations or the groups we might be associated with?
