Once the magic of the moment is gone, it is said that it is gone forever. Many believe that life’s blessed moments are here one moment and gone the next. On the other side of the coin, however, many believe that unfavorable moments have full potential to return.  Why is that? 

Why is it that many believe misfortune can return yet good fortune is fleeting?

We can, once again, relate this to our belief structures, expectations and focus. 

Our focus expands. Why then is it commonplace to focus on misfortunate?

Look at life through fortunate eyes. Do not believe that good fortune is fleeting but hardship is commonplace.  Stop creating this reality.  If we wish for challenges to disappear, with that very desire, we are focusing on the challenges. As a result, you bring more.  Neither can we ignore the situation as this is, in reality, a focus on not paying attention to what we wish to escape.

The only solution is to shift our attention to a benefit of our experience or a blessing we are ignoring because of our negative focus.

Live in appreciation not resentment. You are not a victim; you are a student of life. Learn the lesson, appreciate the knowledge and move forward. Appreciation brings more of the same and we begin noticing all the little wonders that surround us.

We may on occasion still go down the rabbit hole, but we will be quick to realize it and turn our focus around to recapture the moment, the moment of appreciation.

SOLAR AND LUNAR ECLIPSES

We have two luminary Eclipses that affect humankind and likely all other species on earth. 

The energy influence of a Solar Eclipse and a Lunar Eclipse are both said to last approximately 6 months.  Some say the Solar Eclipse lasts longer than the Lunar Eclipse stretching into one year of influence.  The strongest period of influence is about 4-6 weeks after the eclipse and some individuals can feel the energies prior to the actual event as well.

The Solar Eclipse always occurs during the New Moon and is said to expand in its energy over a period of some six months as mentioned above.  It will impact your chart if it is within 3° of any planet in your birth chart, particularly the Sun and Moon.  It will also highly affect your Ascendant and Midheaven.  Its prime push is, with some impulsive action on our part, to create new beginning. 

Sometimes we are aware of what needs to begin and other times it can happen very unexpectedly. Because of this, it is suggested that you wait for things to settle before making any sudden or major changes to your life that may be regretted after this energy has subsided.  Opportunities often present themselves, and in some cases rather dynamically.  It may be hard to hold back as sometimes it feels very appropriate to move ahead with what seems to be the right choice under the influence of a Solar eclipse.

The Lunar Eclipse always happens when we are having a Full Moon, which suggests that it is time to shed things that no longer suit our evolutionary growth.  Sometimes things surface that may have been hidden in the past or swept under the proverbial carpet.  We need to let go and move forward.  This can be a challenging situation and the emotions will run high.  It can bring a complete and sometimes sudden end to things, although in some cases we might already have been aware of this coming. 

Once again, change can happen suddenly and unexpectedly. We should take our time if at all possible.  Sometimes things just happen that seem destined and almost out of our control.   

Some people fear the Solar and Lunar eclipses. In most cases, these events bring forward what is needed. 

The houses in your Astrology chart that are touched by the eclipse and the planetary energies will provide the information needed to have an idea of what to expect.  This can be an especially significant event if other transits and progressions mirror what is suggested when these events take place.

Our next eclipse will take place on August 12, 2026 at 20° in the sign of Leo.  If you have any planets or angles involving this degree, most importantly the Conjunction and Opposition, the energies will have an impact on your chart.

LAWS OF LIFE

There are times when an offering or event suits you perfectly. It’s exactly what you have been looking for.  You might have been waiting a long time for something like this to show up in your life. 

Life, on occasion, just lines up perfectly to your dreams. You may have thought those dreams would never come true but here it is!  It’s a dream come true. It couldn’t be more perfect.

How did this take hold in my life, you might ask?  After a long period of challenge and disappointment, it almost seems unreal. 

Reflect on your frequency or focus over the recent past. Your attention likely had been drawn away from the struggles and hardships. You may have become accustomed to having to give extra effort to move forward so you were not hyper fixated on the struggle but on the hard work you were putting in.  It was normal so you learned to allow. Because of this, your “struggle” frequency has changed to allowing.

Your whole attitude began to adjust and before you realized it, life too began changing, especially in the moment.

Why, you might ask. It is likely that it is your nature to fight and push back even with things are inevitable. If we allow instead of resisting, our focus goes through a shift. 

Is it really that easy?

It was likely so easy that you didn’t really notice the shift. 

This is one of the laws of life. Available to everyone. We often look too deep for answers. In many cases, others may have pointed this out to us, but we didn’t accept it or did not act on it.

Today, we can; so live it, love it, appreciate it and keep that focus on it.
